I have never known how to send a fan letter to anyone, and I still don't. I was brought up to respect my elders, as well as respecting famous people's privacy. Oh how I wish that I had written Miss Burnett 50 years ago to say how much she made my mom and I laugh every week. Harvey Kormen and Tim Conway, without a doubt, the greatest comedy team of all time, hands down. Carol, I so, so, hope you check out these comments, over this channel, from time to time. I'm sure they will do your heart real good. Carol My Darling, Our Grand Lady; there will never be a show like yours, ever again. And why? Well, because it was a different time with different attitudes, and all you guys were utterly, professional, class acts, from start to finish. I had never seen a show like yours before - maybe the Smothers Brothers to some degree, I believe I have that right - and I have never come across another show like yours since. Though the Golden Girls have a similar place in my heart. The fact that all this material STILL, holds up after all these, long, decades and makes people laugh and crack up today, just as well and as much as then, clearly testifies to this fact. You now, have three generations - maybe more - of loving, adoring, loyal, fans, with no sign of it abating anytime soon. Today, you are without a doubt, a Living Legend on par with all the great performers of your time, which you looked up to, loved and adored yourself. How you felt when you met Jimmy Stewart, I'm sure is how so many of us would feel if we ever, had the opportunity to meet you. I'm Canadian myself, My Dear, and what you say at the end of this video is so, very, true. I grew up around a lot of stress, tension and mental illness. I felt alone and depressed throughout my childhood, and still do; and one of the few, rare, times I could escape from feeling this way, was when I'd set down on a Friday night, to watch your show. Not sure when we first, got this show here, in Canada, but my memories of it go back as far as I can remember. I will soon turn 58 myself. Apart from the insanely, funny comedy team of Harvey and Tim, the other favourite of your show was what I call "the changing story skits," where someone would be telling a story, and you guys would be acting it out, but it would change throughout. I so, so, wish they would feature more of these over this channel. I would laugh myself sick, almost, and to the point where I'd almost, piss myself; you guys made those so, insanely, funny. Like so much on your show; this was sheer, genius. So yes; you guys gave me that most precious gift, at times when I needed it so, very, much, many times over, and I take that with me to this very day. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, SO, VERY, MUCH!!!! I think I could go on another half hour here, and still not do you guys and this show justice, but I'll leave it there. This incredible lady is just as nice in person as she appears to be on TV. I watched every year of her show as a kid, and used to do skits in school and 8 mm movies with skits that I tried to make like hers. I loved her sense of humor...I think it was ahead of it's time. What a wonderful life she has had and has given all of us. I am thankful that I got to see all of her shows, go to some of her tapings, and finally had the chance to meet her a few years ago. Something I will never forget. What an incredible gift she is to all of us!

Like so many that were alive in the 70's, this show was a must see every week. What an amazing cast and Carol is not only one of the all time great funny ladies, but one of the kindest and most genuine people. Thank you for so many of my childhood memories of laughter.
