Hi Andrei, I truly admire your family in making Filipino Pastries. BTW, you've known Bibingka with Salted Egg on top of it, but originally White Cheese (Feta Cheese) was used. But because White Cheese is very hard to find nowadays, let alone being so pricey, they just used Salted Eggs instead. So it's better for you to use White Cheese or any kind of Cheese since it's so available there in Russia. SPASIBA!!!

Filipinos don't usually bake, we just fry stuff and cook soups all the time. Ovens are for rich people in the Philippines. That's why I'm so amazed whenever you put out breads and pastries out of the oven. They all look golden brown and shiny, and that bibinga looks so good.

Cakes are too sensitive and picky, LOL!! You have to be very precise or else, it will not come out right. You are getting a lot of subscribers now. You can also to make fruit salad. Very eascy. Those pandecoco you guys bakes looks so great. You can also substitute coconut filling with meat mixture just like empanada.

Bibingka originally has no egg in it but it is an option if you put some and choose the salted one.

You can make your own salted egg...that is the kind of egg we use on bibingka and not an ordinary boiled egg...you can also eat it with tomato and rice
