Kardiac Kids is a support group held at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children. It’s for families and caregivers of children and young adults affected by heart conditions and defects at various points of their lives.
Kardiac Kids meets to provide time to talk story and opportunities to learn more about cardiac conditions, as well as support and encouragement for families in their medical journey.
In February for Heart Month, Kardiac Kids hosts a party to celebrate the children who have endured so much. It’s also an opportunity for families to reconnect with the medical teams who took care of their children.
