I moved to this country 20 years ago and being a black man from Africa!! I struggled so much to find my place in this country and went through the ups and downs of adaptation and assimilation, finally I went back to who I’m truly I’m and learned to appreciate myself and the people who mean a lot to me, stumbling on this podcast was the gift of last year and I admire the 3 of you guys!! Mike Tomlin interview is the best piece of interviewing I’ve ever seen in my life. Nothing in media has ever resonated with me as a black man so much. An alpha in every sense of the word, without having to project it physically or otherwise. Literally the embodiment of it in many ways. Shout of from South Africa 🇿🇦. Actually seeing RC shed a tear when talking about his relationship with his daughter who’s around my age made me look at my relationship with my parents and appreciate them more because as their child were never looking at how hard it is for them to be our parent and the things they go through

MB episode was the BEST interview of the last 10 years period, and I’m talking political figures, celebrities, influential people, business men!!! People might say “are you serious”!!! Yes, I’m serious; it was a real human with real human emotions and a level of vulnerability I have never seen before!!! It helped me personally to appreciate life, my family, friends and it gave me an attitude of gratitude!!! Thanks guys!!! Awesome work

Trying to be brief…This show is second to none! I’ve watched every episode, most of them multiple times! Outside of sports, I don’t watch much tv. I like to guard what I feed my holistic direction. Your show is guaranteed to feed positivity, enlightenment, therapy, encouragement, understanding, perspective, and thought provoking content! It’s genuinely like chilling with the OGs and soaking up knowledge. Just like y’all can’t say enough to thank us, we can’t say enough to express the magnitude of which this show affects our community and the world. The Pivot's no-nonsense format is so refreshing in our follow-the-ratings "Hot Take" sports journalism culture. It's so exhausting to constantly hear about just a few athletes and teams ad nauseam. Seems you brothers are providing an atmosphere where your guest can be authentically-vulnerable and "keep it real" in the best sense of the phrase. For me, it makes y'all the best sports entertainment out here bar none. Hopefully others in the market will follow your lead and find the stones to showcase the depth and breath the modern-athlete.
