Yes but the Daily Show people can't really do much about the strike.

@@belowaverage7308 they could absolutely do more to fight to get their writers what they deserve. The constant reruns are already getting old, and they're losing viewers/subscribers.

For one, they could release a statement about what's happening on this channel. There's still many people who are unaware of the strike altogether. Every rehashed video they release has several people asking why there are so many reruns. You can't help, or show support if you are unaware there is an issue.

We only had one public pool in our neighborhood- The YMCA, & it was really far from our house... a long bus ride or fairly long train ride. So, we used the fire hydrants until the fire chef told us it wasn't safe for us to do so. So, my Dad put our lawn sprinkler above the garage door & told us we could play through the water for 15 min a day (the water cost too much to waste). All my neighborhood friends, who just so happened to be from every walk of life, took turns coming to our house to run around playing & cool off; it was so much fun.

as much as i hate getting into any body of water (lakes, rivers, oceans, pools, etc.) i'm thankful we have public pools in my city.

They are no lifeguards on the beaches of Puerto Rico or any of the Caribbean islands. That doesn’t stop millions of tourists from coming and swimming in our beaches. Find it interesting that Americans won’t swim in their beaches without a lifeguard and go to our islands and do so. Lol
