The girls need some outdoor rockers for the porches😮. Its so nice to rock the babies out in the fresh air. They sleep longer.😊

Oooh you can fic your green beans with fresh potatoes and the kielbasa together in a one pot meal. Since your beans cook for a long time I'd cook them a while first before adding your taters and the sausage. That's a staple easy supper for me at my house and everyone loves it!❤😋

Arkansas, where I live, did away with vehicle inspection requirements years ago. Now you just have to have proof of property tax assessment and payment and proof of liability insurance to renew your tags. Your Tractor Supply seemed to have a lot more inventory too than the one here.

I found after Easter this year big Easter buckets some with flowers and some with bunnies, in such pretty colors, they went down to 1.25 each and worked great for planters, and looked so pretty. 😊

Years ago here in Indiana we use to do the safety stickers on our vehicles , probably back in the 60's or 70's but not anymore!

So nice of you to invite us along with y'all. We used to have car inspections in Florida but they stopped that I think back in ths 80's. I remember when I fixed hotdogs we had baked beans, coleslaw and chips. Now I want a hotdog Tipper. 🤣❤

I know it seems aggravating to have your car inspected but hear me out. I'm native Calif. transplanted to Tennessee. When I was a little girl in the 50's I lived in Texas and every year we went to Calif to visit my grandmother. When we would get to Calif the smog would be so heavy my head would start to hurt, my eyes burn and I would cough as soon as we got into Los Angeles. Fast forward, married with 2 school age children. It would be so bad some days kids were not allowed outside for recess. you could not see the foothills, they were completely hidden by the smog and it smelled terrible. They enacted inspections, unleaded gas became a thing and in a relatively short while the air cleaned up (not perfect), it was night and day. Calif requires inspections before registration and has for years. Believe me, it is worth it and you are doing a good thing. It would be a shame if the beauty of where you live was destroyed by air pollution. It's beautiful here in middle TN just like your countryside. Sometimes so green it almost hurts your eyes.

I really enjoy watching both channels with your family. I am from Maggie Valley, NC. I live now in Colorado. I miss NC a lot. I visit often. You guys have a very special family, a rarely found dynamic these days. And I compliment you both on how you have raised your daughters. You can tell they were raised in a close, Godly, stable, cultural, and loving family. It's awesome how they were so close growing up, still close, seem to have a special bond, and now they are young new mothers together. Thank you for giving your time to make this channel. I like watching the trips to town videos, to get a feel for the area. I like the way you pronounce chanterelles. It's full of the local color and personality of the area. Fun day out. That area is so beautiful! Our favorite way to make kielbasa sausage is to grill it, cut in large portions, and grill sliced onions and peppers to go with it.

You live in such a beautiful area. I used to live in Sweetwater, Tennessee and I was crazy about it! Every drive into town from the farm was filled with beautiful rolling hills and lush pastures. Thanks for taking us on your errands!

I just love that scenic route into Peachtree.❤ used it everyday for about a month plus. We had an RV parked out the back of a farm in the upper side of Peachtree while we sought a new home. Loved that area, we ended up way out yonder in Culberson.😊

I have saved money getting books on gardening, canning, preserving, a lot of great information out there in books that are in thrift stores,garage sales and used book stores

In Colorado, to renew your tags you get an emissions test, and they often set those up along the major highways. When you drive by it, it registers your emissions and license plate, and the information gets sent to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Its very cool to be a part of the history of your own home town. I feel like that when I drive through old neighborhoods where I built and restored old Victorian and arts and craft homes in the bay area. I did sheetmetal and the fancy copper work I did back in the 90s if finally looking original with the patina coming on strong. Craftsmanship is dying.

Enjoyed your trip. We shop at Tractor Supply in NJ for the horse, the cat, and the birds. It was fun riding along with you.

I live in Florida now but us kids have kept the home place. It still means a lot to all of the kids and grandkids. They have good memories of my Mom and Dad. We have to keep that for them.

Seeing you all in your 4Runner, made me sad as we sold our 1996 one several years ago and I’ve regretted ever since. It was a tough vehicle. Nobody was driving it at the time, it was just sitting there most of the time and I didn’t want to see it go down. Hold on to yours. 😊

That was fun. We shop Tractor Supply here in NJ for horse, cat and bird supplies. We don't have a place to buy special hot dogs , and we love them too. Enjoyed riding along with you both.
