Bob Ross also had a career in the Air Force. Granted most, if not all, of his positions were desk jobs but he was also a training instructor and when he retired it was with the rank of Master Sergeant (E7). This essentially made him a platoon sergeant you did not want to piss off.

Bob Ross might have actually killed people. He developed a style of cleaning off his oil brushes quickly so that he could finish a painting in the length of an episode. It involved dipping them in turpentine and then smacking the crap out of them. It spread fumes and fine mist everywhere which you would end up breathing in. It's likely what caused his lymphoma and killed him.

A few more who might deserve a spot on this list are; Tobin Bell - the guy who plays Jigsaw, a genuinely nice and down to earth guy. Dave Grohl - Of Nirvana and the Foo Fighters notoriously easy going. Sadio Mane, a Senegalese footballer who spends much of his time and money in his home country and has helped build schools and roads. Alice Cooper - just an all round nice guy who has maintained a positive image for nearly fifty years. Charles Martinet - the voice actor for Mario, honestly will just gush to anyone about his craft, and spends time with fans.

I think a very honorable mention should be Robin Williams. Many actors that he had worked with consistently said that he was one of the funniest, kindest and most down-to-earth people that they met, always managing to make the people around him laugh. It is such a shame that he also seemed to have been an incredibly sad and depressed person as well. Even Sam Neill once said about him “He had fame, he was rich, people loved him, great kids-the world was his oyster. And yet I felt more sorry for him than I can express. He was the loneliest man on a lonely planet,” Neill wrote. Williams seemed “inconsolably solitary and deeply depressed.”

He frequently visited kids at Children’s Hospital, hired a man for his show who couldn’t get work (he played the police officer), ALWAYS respected everyone on set and in the community at large. I know that there are people who don't like Weird Al because they have no sense of humor to speak of, and some srtists like Billy Joel and Coolio (at first) didn't like how he spoofed their songs. But he has always seemed like a good-natured guy who doesn't take himself too seriously. Been a fan of his ever since Dr. Demento used to play his songs on his show on KROQ. As for Coolio, they also made up too, even if Coolio had a bit of a grudge for a while. In all seriousness, Al doesn't have any kind of drug scandal, no trouble with the law, keeps a very clean image, and just is a very wholesome and well rounded guy. Steve Irwin. One of my favourite things about him was that he didn’t look down on people or belittle them like some other nature lovers do, his approach was to educate through his pure unbridled energy and fun. The sheer amount of emotion I felt when you started talking about Mr. Rogers. The man is nothing more than the greatest man to ever walk on this planet we call Earth. I’ve never met him, but my dad has when he was younger, and he’s everything that dad said he was on television and then some. I met Jack Black very recently at a comedy show, and he was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. He took time out of his afternoon to shake my hand, and tell me to pull out my phone for a selfie. This is one of my favorite moments of my life so far, and I am so lucky to have met him.
