As BTS’ popularity became bigger across the world, they began getting some hate from a lot of famous people. Some of them include celebrities like James Corden and Ellen Degeneres. This video will look into all the celebrities that owe BTS members a huge apology for what they did to the group.
The first celebrity who owes BTS a huge apology is none other than Ellen Degeneres. When BTS appeared on her show for the first time, they were very excited to be there. During their question segment, Ellen asked the Korean group a very inappropriate question that even the translator was afraid of repeating it. Ellen asked BTS if they have ever hooked up with one of the BTS ARMY knowing very well that most of them are young girls. BTS quickly answered no, but any other answer on such a popular show could have possibly ruined their career. Since dating scandals, especially with fans can ruin an idol’s public image in South Korea. One ARMY @softieyoongles tweeted out saying, “I know the hookup question was meant to be a joke but I dont think it was very tasteful so im not gonna defend her.” Other members of the fandom thought it was more of a joke from the comedian, but they still think Ellen should apologize to BTS. That joke could have cost them a lot more back home, don’t you think?

First James Cordon did nothing wrong-if you understand English,you would have understood the joke.plus BTS are fine with him-Really the joke was about the UN not really about BTS.Besides they are big enough to decide for themselves.As for Ellen-she was her usual tactless,disgusting self,and BTS bumped her as they should have.

As an ARMY: For the record, James apologized, so he is all clear. And they were rather rude comments, but harmless. Everyone loves BTS, including 15-year-old girls. James just didn't realize that BTS is more than most stereotype boy bands, who often have a fanbase of younger girls.

BTS had no issue with James Gordon's joke and even went on his show since then. Where the jokes was addressed and the boys made it clear they had no ill feelings towards him.

Wait im confused, you are saying Ellen was being inappropriate saying what she said cause, BTS has mostly young girls as fans but then you think James is wrong for saying all 15 y/o girls are BTS fans. BTS James never said they only have 15 y/o fans. It was just taken out of context. He also said the exact same thing you said explaining what Ellen did.

James didn't asked them if they'd hooked up with their fans (multiple times). Which in kpop and Korean culture in general is seen as inappropriate to asks them and you could clearly see how uncomfortable they were with that. As for James they were fine and were bothered by the joke and still remained friends

This is only my opinion: you were wrong about James Corden, he made a couple of jokes that were not offensive, and publicly apologized on tv while they were on his show about any offense that was taken. I bet he even apologized privately to BTS. You posted your views Jan 26 well after apologies were over and BTS appeared on his show. By the way I am a BTS fan. 💜

Can we just stop with these negative videos using BTS' name? Everybody, don't believe crap you've read on the internet chatrooms, Facebook or twitter pages about other celebrities & BTS. This opinion comes from discussion fans were having about fans dislike for other celebrities. BTS has never said anything. You're causing problems for them while they are trying to advance their careers in the United States and around the world. You're taking away all the hard work BTS and ARMY have done. To be fair, I went on this video looking to hate on James Corden and Ellen further, but nothing you said seemed all that offensive to me. Just celebrities saying things they usually do, other celebrities has gotten wayyy worse things said to them. Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain among MANY others have been straight up abused verbally on tonight shows and in interviews.

I don’t condone when ARMY goes a little over the top, but that’s ARMY’s job! To stick up for them when they are disrespected, we jump to their defense. Do I approve of the toxic element, who actually wish these people would die, or threaten to kill them over their comments? Of course not! That’s simply insane, and they need therapeutic help, and they make real ARMY look bad, but calling people like Derulo and Ellen out is perfectly acceptable to me. If they’re going to come at Bangtan publicly, they need to be *indignantly* called on the carpet, because BTS are too nice to defend themselves.

Death threats for being rude is absurd! And I don’t get bc why Ollie London makes the list. He loves BTS and obsesses over them. This doesn’t hurt BTS or the members individually or their careers. This is going too far when it comes to fandom. It’s fanatic. But do is sending death threats. I feel like ARMY gets carried away with thinking we can do whatever we want when we don’t like someone. That’s not what BTS or ARMY stands for. There really needs to be a line drawn. When people chase clout, that’s called business and that’s what the entertainment industry is. Also, it seems like people sit around looking for reasons to be offended. Some jokes se really just jokes and not intended to be taken so literally. I don’t think Corden was intentionally being rude. But if ARMY attacks every person that speaks to or of BTS it eventually will hurt BTS because they won’t continue to be invited places out of fear of ARMY once again being in the defensive over every little perceived slight. This would lead to more people think of ARMY as catty little 15 year olds rather than a global transcendental population because there’s definitely a lack of maturity to be so trigger happy over every little thing. We owe BTS better behavior as ARMY. This is getting out of hand. If I were a host, I’d be afraid to have BTS on my show because o don’t death threats for referring to BTS in anyway shape or form because I’ll be sure some ARMY somewhere ids going to be offended no matter what I say or do. I wouldn’t invite them just for that reason despite loving their music and likening their personalities. This is where fandom becomes toxic. Let’s not let that happen. Let’s be more responsible and respectful

Why are you bringing this all up again, to get some Armies worked up, do you want to see these people getting hate again, message telling them to kill them selves again. All of these cases have been done and over. Don’t start trouble, which is something you do often. BTS is all about love, not hate. Be more like BTS be kind. No one and I mean no one should be told to kill themselves, I don’t care how rude or bad the joke was.
