Have done 2 Celebrity cruises in past year (Equinox & Beyond), and am going on 2 Princess cruises next year. I appreciate the insights of this video! Agree with buffet comments for Equinox, but the buffet on Beyond was absolutely stellar and outstanding for all meals. Looking forward to what I am thinking is a more relaxed feel of the Princess ships as Celebrity can be a little stuffy and stodgy for me. Celebrity entertainment and activities has always felt a little boring and not always top rate.

We have been on two Princess cruises (Ruby and Regal) and really enjoyed them both. We are in our 60's so no kids. The buffet on the Regal was top notch and you are right about pizza, it is wonderful. Thanks for the great video.

Been on both many times, enjoyed MDR and Buffet better on Princess. Like the Princess food choices more. Both service is good.😮

There is a clear divergence with the once similar lines. Celebrity has taken tact of building more modern , elegant sleek ships with really nice amenities & charging more. Princess has opted to build mega ships & keep their ships looking drab & outdated.

I've sailed both cruise lines and i strongly disagree about the variety of food in the celebrity buffet. I agree about the pizza.

Thanks for your feedback. We have just been on that one Celebrity ship, but have been on numerous Princess. We are planning to sail on other Celebrity ships soon. This ship didn’t have a great selection for this cruise. It’s good to know that may not be the case across the brand.

Much more variety at night than during the day. Creator probably didn't dine in the buffet in the evening.

We did one evening, but the variety was very similar to lunch. We are planning to sail on celebrity again in the near future. I’m glad to hear it may have just been this one sailing with a lack of variety and not a brand issue.
