James Blunt is literally how I imagine an angel to be. His voice, it moves through your soul and soothes it and beautifully pains it too. He's underrated and while they all killed it, he killed it then brought it back to life too!

Rita crashed the Germany blind auditions on purpose because she wanted to see what the blind auditions experience was like for the contestants. The majority of the judges said that they’ve heard the song before but they never knew how she looked or didn’t recognize her. I’m glad they all turned. 😅

Fortunately, I had the chance too watch James singing that song here in Brazil once. What a sweet memory! It was sooo beautiful. I love "Goodbye my lover". In my opinion, it's one of the best songs of his.

I feel like this video is a very good example of the different kinds of performers out there. there are people who know how to sing. have a nice voice and can perform "difficult" songs well. and then there are *singers.* people who actually have a unique talent for crafting their voice around every line, like Jesse. and then there are the James Blunts of the world. people who connect with you so much just by singing that you feel like thanking them for sharing their voice.
