I just got back from an amazing cruise to Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao on the Celebrity Reflection. Celebrity’s Solstice class of ships are some of the best designed ships I’ve ever sailed on. I was curious to see if Celebrity had changed post pandemic, and the results of this video surprised me. Join me for a walk down memory lane - after all, Celebrity was the first Cruise Line I ever worked for back in 2015. After a decade of working on cruise ships, I finally got to chill and enjoy the view from the other side.

My Fiance & I are traveling with Celebrity Reflection for our honeymoon in September. It will be our first ever cruise & first time out of the country. I am beyond excited and love seeing all the good reviews... I can already tell this will not be our last time cruising with them!

We love the Celebrity Solstice Class! 🙌🏽🥳 World Class Bar always a fave - 🌹 Water is 🤤 Lawn Club Grill & Murano are THE BEST Specialty Restaurants of Celebrity, hands down!! 👏🏽 Deck Party Fit = 👨🏽‍🍳 💋

I think we like it as much as the Edge class ships - we were on Beyond for the first time a few weeks back, what a fantastic modern ship, but we definitely missed some things from the Solstice class, including a Solarium that didn't feel like a sauna. Imagine a Billion dollar ship that they cannot get the climate control correct (we had problem in our room as well). That said, we love the Edge class, and will be on again in 2026 on Xcel. Love Solstice class as well!

Kabir, really good content, was a fun watch. Was really interesting to see your journey as a guest after being cruise director. You mention wanting to go on the Edge class ships. We've been on Equinox 3 times now, and just went on Beyond a few weeks ago. It was a fantastic ship, but definitely some things missed form the Solstice class ships, one major one being the lack of ability to have consistent climate control, on a Billion Dollar Ship!! Anyhow, fun to watch, thanks for the great content - we will be on Reflection fall of 2025 and really looking forward to it!

I love hearing about people’s experiences while working on a cruise ship - we don’t see as many Canadians- perhaps in some of the higher end positions?? Not sure but it is a very different lifestyle. I would find it interesting how all the different entertainment acts/groups are booked etc probably your boss did this when you worked on the cruise? Anyway I am just always interested in logistics

I'm SO happy you shared there's hot glass class there. I missed doing it on the Equinox (my first cruise). We plan to be on the Reflection 2025. I'm elated that I can do the glass firing ❤. Thanks for the great video 🥰

Reflection doesn't have the hot glass class, they have the lawn club grill instead.

We’re sailing on the Reflection in November, is it possible for us to request a table for two and by a window ( we really don’t need three window because we have the late night seating ) . Great vlog! Do you have vlog on why you stopped working on ships? Or others on what it’s like to work on a ship? Thanks.

Hi this is exact Cruse 2025. I do have questions about the ports. I am in a wheelchair that is motorized. I was wondering if the ports are close enough to be able to use my chair or do I need to plan for transportation? My chair is an electric seven and it goes 14 miles on a single charge, the information would be really helpful. Please tell me about the ports in Aruba Bonaire, and c croissant. My son is 17. Is he able to use the gym? Can he go into the lounges etc (no he wouldn't be drinking alcohol, just want to know if can come with us everywhere in the ship as he'd like). Thanks:)

Odd judgment regarding peoples' preferences on headphones, but yeah, I use wired headphones. When the bluetooth tech can catch up to what Seinnheiser can do with wired tech and deliver the same sound quality, for a decent price, I will consider switching. What I WON'T ever do? Film myself in the gym, kid. Thats what we grownups call a social "no no".:)

The cruise was boring, BUT the food was better than Carnival, RCCL, Norwegian, Virgin and MSC.

The reflection is a great ship. I think its more for us old folks who book cruises for the ports of call. For a lot of people the ship is the destination.
