one day, I woke up and out of nowhere, I just hummed this song but I don't even remember from where this song came from, who sang it, or even the title. it was just there in my memory for so, so long and decided to come out on that day. I've no idea how to search for it for a month, nearly 2 months now. I've tried searching for it like typing the lyric in romaji in google. Lots of songs came out, but not this. Then, today, just now, I typed bits and pieces of lyrics in japanese and this showed up. The moment I saw Junko Iwao - Scarlett, I immediately knew. This is the song I've been looking for. I was so happy I almost cried. I've forgotten that this anime existed because it was so long ago. Now, I'm gonna play this song in loop until I'm satisfied. 😂

Binged the entire anime again as a grown ass woman after watching it in my teens. Didn't quite hit the same, and was downright disturbing even, but this song will forever be the most beautiful anime theme I've ever heard.

Actually the author of this anime is the same as Fushigi Yuugi, both are very great anime with amazing openings, one the openings are my phone ringtone !! who ever ddnt watch Fushigi Yuugi and liked Ayashi no ceres I recommend you to watch it you'll love it !

Ayashi No Ceres is one of the best classic anime I have ever watch in my lifetime. The song is just so emotional I can't even feel my tears drying, but tears coming down more and more.

I watched this anime when I was 10 or 11 years old. Last night I suddenly remembered the title then search it here on KZfaq. I kinda miss this kind of genre, plus this song, it gives me goosebumps.

One of the most beautiful anime openings ever! Ayashi no Ceres was the first anime I watched with japanese dub, so it has a big part in heart ever since.

Reading the manga now (after watching the series years ago) and at that part where Aya and Toya reenact the scene at Hachijo island where they first met (before the beginning of the show) and exchanged a sea shell. Such a haunting scene (and demonstrated beautifully in the anime opening). God I love this song so much and applaud Yuu Watase for such an incredible story. Thank you for doing such a beautiful job in translating these poignant lyrics.

This song is so sad because to me it describes getting older and losing one’s dreams as they don’t come true.

I watched and recorded this anime using VHS during my hs days way back 22 years ago. And recently decided to watch it again here on KZfaq, ohh the feeling is still the sameeeeee!

The last episode made me happy and sad the same time. Happy that aya and toya are together and a child on the way, but sad that toya might die earlier as he no longer has the hagoromo inside him, and he had talked to yuuhi when that time comes and he passes, yuhi would take care of aya😢

The song so means to the man she love so much. Sad, struggle and happy with him or her make me so touching when i watch this story "Ayashi No Ceres". But out there i don't know, your think about this story.

This anime was the 1st anime I watched before I watched Fushigi Yuugi and I loved it I wish Ceres did have more episodes because I felt like it was not finished actually I like this anime and Fushigi Yuugi the same though I wish Ceres had more episodes it was a very good anime.

I have watched this anime in 2006 because a High school classmate lent me a DVD of it. The episodes wasn't complete only from 1 to 6. I just have finished the entire story in 2020 during lockdown. The lyrics and melody of Scarlet still plays in my memory that's why I can still remember some of its lyrics. I haven't heard anything from that HS classmate after graduation, I hope he's okay.

Hmm no don’t ever give up on what you love and never give up on you’re dream it will come if you want it bad enough I myself am a singer I am still aiming to make it I know it will happen if we apply ourselves and if we want it bad enough even love will happen never give up on the good things keep believing in them. Although this song brings back memories from my high school days back in 08. It bitter and sweet and yet a very beautiful song I play it on the piano once in awhile.
