I would carry her in my own arms for miles if I had to, just to place her on the stage. She belongs there. This woman stood by me and by so many people that she does not know personally, throughout our best and worst times of our lives. My first love, my graduation, my first car ride, my hard break-ups, my mother's death and many more. Touching so many souls that keep praying for her. She means so much to so many people around the world. A true and genuine role model. Her voice is us, all of us. She is Courage. She is Celine Dion.

That’s not true. You will not carry anyone who ain’t your family or friend or child for miles and force them in stage. If she stood by you, you shd wish her well and not force her on stage. She belongs to her sons, not the stage.

I went to her Vegas show 2 days after the Mandalay Bay massacre. She donated every ticket purchased to that disaster that night. Every ticket sold that dollar went to those that survived that horrible night. This woman is gold. She sang so well that night and her sense of humor never failed her. I wish her the best. I am so glad she spoke of the dangers of Benzos. Those drugs are not the answer.
@lindseysanders365617 күн бұрын
She’s always been outspoken about drugs. I was a little surprised she didn’t know about the effects of it, but I guess if you’ve never taken them you wouldn’t know. I’m glad she addressed the issue and tried another route. The only thing I would’ve liked to have heard is maybe what nutritional/diet or supplements she has tried. I was reading on it to see what they think causes this thing and the things to do/not to do, and what/what not to eat. Wouldn’t solve everything, but I’m sure they’re doing something like that.

I have to write another comment. I went to a concert a long time ago where she was opening for Michael Bolton. Celine was opening for him and she was a brand new artist with "Unison". I started to have the same symptoms in 1974, when I was 24. I suffered without knowing what it was until now. I was prescribed diazepam which I took until I turned 40, because I needed to relax my through and jaw, especially to be able to eat and swallow the food, but also to function at work. At 40 I came to US with my family and the doctor prescribed klonopin, 3 pills a day. At the age of 64 I had a heart block and went through a heart surgery and had a pacemaker implanted. Recently, I decided to give up on klonopin, but I have a hard time to fall asleep. This is my story which I needed to share after I watched Celine’s story. Now I know what I was suffering from. Losing your long-term spouse while you are raising children is enough to break you. When my husband died, I broke and every ounce of my strength went to getting our children through the grief. To then battle with severe illness yourself while you grieve your other half in life, which is a long journey, would be so challenging. You lose so much of yourself when your spouse dies. For her to also lose what she always knew her identity to be, as a singer, and control of her own body as well, must be hell.

Hearing all the stress she was carrying from Rene’s health, her condition, being a mother,and still preforming at a high level. Stress can cause many health issues. I was working at a very stressful job,when within a few days I was bent over in pain. Tried to work through it. Had a scan and they found a hole in my colon. Diverticulosis. Doctor told me stress could cause it. Eventually had 8 inches taken out of the colon. Fast forward my wife also had a stressful job and it progressed to long hours, poor diet,lack of sleep. Was diagnosed with FTD/Alzheimer’s. 2017-passed in 2022. Stress can Destroy our health. Thank you for this story.

So sorry what you and your wife endured and for the loss of your dear wife. You are correct, stress can wreak havoc on our bodies. It can definitely bring on physical ailments and add to existing ones. Celine is correct when she said she should’ve stopped sooner than she did to try to figure this out but hindsight is always 20/20. However, it’s devastating and sad that it took so long to get to the bottom of it but I can somewhat relate. Although, I’m sure her’s is more serious, I suffer with chronic back pain. It began in 2007 and took 11 years to get to the root cause. Agonizing pain, with no let up, is debilitating and it not only affects you physically but will wear you down mentally and emotionally. It will make one just want to die so I totally sympathize and empathize. It’s stressful enough let alone not knowing WHY!! I felt it when she said just give me an answer; otherwise, you start thinking you’re crazy! All you want is relief! Just happy that she seems to be better than she was. She’s been through a lot and never took time for herself. Hope her wish comes true and she gets to sing/perform again!

I hope she knows that she is a human being and her profession is not who she is. People will always love her, not only for the way she sang, but because of who she is and has always been. God bless you Celine, not for your voice, but for being a beautiful soul.

She is so delicate. A super rare flower, truly one in a million. Very special. Brave yet vulnerable. A diva yet it feels like she is my own sister or a best friend. I’m so sorry about SPS, my heart aches for her. Classy lady, dear Celine, don’t feel pressured to give us more gifts through your beautiful voice, because even if you never sing 100% for us, we are still going to be there to sing with you any which way we can. We marvel in your performance and I’m personally honored to have lived in the same historical time as one of the best singers in the world: Celine Dion. Sending virtual hugs and much love to you Celine. ❤❤❤

I saw her in Omaha, Nebraska and it was one of the best shows of my life. One thing that I remember that someone in the audience gave her a bottle of champagne and a book how to have a baby. She absolutely made me laugh out loud. Cried and laughed and loved every second of her performance. Wishing her the absolute strength to continue to try to perform. Love her and Hoda did a fantastic job with this interview ❤❤❤

Even before I knew anything about the journey she has been on, Celine has always been one of my very favorite singers. I love all her songs! They are so uplifting & now knowing how much of a struggle her journey has been, it only makes me admire & respect her even more! Her willingness to be transparent before everyone brings her into a different category as she connects with everyday people like you & me & endears her to my heart even more! God bless her as she continues to battle this disease to return to the stage.
