it depends on what you're using. if its ASL, PSE, or SEE, ASL and PSE is an interpretation and SEE is word for word.

Gary Morin I most definitely agree. As an interpreter myself, I know in the true meaning of ASL as it's own grammar structure and language, NO it is NOT ASL. But often many people, including deaf people, when asked, "do you use ASL?" They will say YES, whole-heartedly, even when they are clearly PSE. This is obviously a light-hearted basic level signing class so calling it ASL in the true sense, no, is it using some AMERICAN signing, just not necessary contextually or in proper grammar order? Yes.
