Idk if I'd rather get snaked or have a cracked out 13 year old slide cancel me into oblivion. Cod really has changed and no matter what something will be abused and drain the fun out of the game.

It was inevitable that it would get to everybody snaking, and I think it's ok, at the end of the day it does require skill too although it's clearly unbalanced. It's too subtle of a move to have someone disqualified for it. You could just go behind cover, crouch to avoid some shots and pop back out to engage, and that would be fine. The line between snaking and not snaking, doing intentionally or not, using it or abusing it is (or was) way too blurry. It's not like capturing A control on Asilo from behind the door that is a super blatant exploit. At the end of the day it's always been in the hands of the devs.

dude are u blind?what is blurry about snaking?there is a differening between crouching behind something to get out of shots sight and literally spamming every half second crouch so only ur head pops, u get line of sight,and enemy cant shoot u because of it. theres nothing blurry about it

One thing I don't understand is why they dont just nerf it like CSGO, meaning if you crouch and stand up repeatedly the speed of doing it goes way down so you cant spam it but you can do it about twice for scenarios where it is needed to avoid multiple enemies.

As a Counterstrike player who grew up on CoD, it's weird to see a whole community so against mechanical skill. Snaking has been around since Modern Warfare 3 if not longer, what would help is bringing better tickrates and higher quality servers to the game so hit boxes are more inline, fix the alignment of your player models camera, etc. but no one knows about the technical side of the game, the response instead is "Just water down the mechanics until everyone's on the same basic vanilla level because I can't do what he does as consistently..."

Halo has button glitches that literally allow you to shoot almost twice as fast. There are glitches that allow auto reloads and instant kills, too. They have never been talked about as "bad" in those games. They have never been banned, GA'd or patched. There was a decent amount of skill used in these button combos, they are 100% glitches and not intended and used in every single competitive series. Every pro and every player loves them. They are looked at as good for the game. Snaking is basically an exploit that requires very little skill. My friends and I don't even play CoD like that and everyone can snake easily lol It's just an extremely overpowered mechanic that requires almost 0 actual skill.

@@davedanger4414 like I said the fix to this is likely not a fix to the movement but maybe higher than 12 tick servers so that hit boxes don't break during fast or abnormal motion especially online. And it's not only snaking, there has been a consistent section of the community for years that has complained nonstop about dying in anyway that isn't a guy just holding left and right trigger. We had the jumpshot whiners in BO2, the dropshot whiners in MW days, the slide cancel cancellers in MW2019 which has arguably made movement take a step back in MW2, there is a long track record of anti-skill based movement sentiments in the CoD community. On top of that the armory of weapons in the game gets widdled down every year to 2 weapons because pros GA 90% of the game away, when you could just adjust health in comp if you think the devs made ttk too fast that year.

Snaking didn’t work well in old infinity wars games at all. It worked well in treyarch games primarily and then in cross play games. Cellium is just ass

@@OG4DWell lucky for FaZe they get to go up against OpTic this week. You're right though OpTic are clearly not a threat to FaZe because of some roster changes that's why they were 6-1 against FaZe last season even with all the roster changes because of iLLeY's injury so FaZe have nothing to worry about this season.

Slide canceling is fine, but people complain about snaking, I swear, morons 101, they both abusing game mechanics. And even if you don’t like it there is a skill gap because of it, some people are horrible at snaking and easily get outplayed trying to do it.

@Shot on An IPhone that doesn't matter. It's still available to all to practice and abuse. Also, snaking is not new. If Activision thougt it was a problem they could easily nerf the movement. You know this. So meant to or not, if something is available to use for ALL players to use then it is, ultimately, fair.

A movement exploit or skill (depending on who you ask). Allows you maintain peeker’s advantage and makes you harder to shoot on head glitches. There are plenty of videos on KZfaq and Reddit about it

@@47Gryph Na FaZe would've lost way more in Cold War for example if Cellium didn't snake. He didn't snake in the 1v1 vs Scump in BO4 and he easily got gunned to get reverse swept. You see Cellium as good for his ability to stay alive and that is because he snakes and has been snaking year after year after year.
