Sechs Super-Cellisten mit sechs Super-Celli, zum Gespräch versammelt Backstage in der Elbphilharmonie Hamburg vorm Cello-Gipfel der Hamburgischen Vereinigung von Freunden der Kammermusik. Mit dabei: Claudio Bohórquez, Jens-Peter Maintz, Christian Poltéra, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, Jakob Spahn und Wen-Sinn Yang. Die Fragen stellt Vereinsvorsitzender Ludwig Hartmann.
Es geht unter anderem um das Spannungsfeld zwischen Einzel-Charakter und Ensemble, um Literaturauswahl, Celli-Erbauer, Bogen-Finessen und die Beziehung zu Instrument wie Bogen.

Quite a panoply of cellists, cellos and bows- all wonderful artists and masters of their craft. At the same time with Germany and the rest of Europe imploding because of the insanity (and corruption) of their leaders, these fellows won't starve if Germany descends into a depression- they can sell their bows and instruments if need be and there will always be a willing buyer among the investor elites. It is a shame that on the one hand Europe should be in such a crisis, while its musical life is so vibrant. Maybe music is the drug needed to endure the existential problems Europe's leaders have created for their people.
