Hi Mark! here is my answer hahahah i took your advice on making up a few things to assist me in speaking for the allotted time. I think Canada should legalize marijuana for several reasons. Firstly, marijuana is known to contain many nutrients which are beneficial to our health. Many persons consume the plant in varied forms to aid with aches and pains as well as to calm their nerves. In a medical report I read a few months ago it was stated that marijuana contains healing properties and has been proven to alleviate diseases and illnesses in both humans and animals. With the number of mental health cases increasing, studies show that the use of marijuana reduced thoughts of suicide, feeling of depression and has created a more focused and relaxed mind in individuals who suffer from mental conditions. It also helps with the reduction of stress levels and surprisingly asthma patients. Marijuana can also be used as an ingredient in foods and is considered quite tasty and full of flavor. Canada is known for their culinary skills and have produced some great chefs over the years. They would now be able to explore the plant and its benefits even further. I believe there are so much more benefits of the plant and once it is legalized they would be able to conduct even more research into this magnificent plant and who knows, one day it may be a leading ingredient in the cure for cancer. Anyways, these are some of the reasons I think they should legalize marijuana in Canada.

Your videos have really helped me to prepare for the CELPIP Speaking tasks. Thank you for that! However, I would not agree with you on the difference between perfumes and colognes :) Actually, the difference is concentration of essential oils. Perfumes contain a higher concentration of oils, typically around 25-30 percent, while colognes contain lower percentage like 5 or 6 percent. I know it has nothing to do with the English learning, but thought to share with the readers anyways :)

I'm surprised by hearing that you never took the Celpip test. The problem with Celpip is they are making fortunes giving low scores. You check in the online there are so many people who are not happy the way Celpip is doing these days. People are calling Celpip scam. Marijuana should not be legalized in Canada for some reasons. First teenagers are the most that will be affected because of their curiosity and immature minds that they have no control of using marijuana that will result to addiction. And it may cause an increase to crime incidents. Secondly the people including kids will be deprived of their right to fresh air specially in public places where users of marijuana will be smoking. In my opinion, Marijuana should be legal in Canada for several reasons. First, a lot of people these days are healing with medicinal products derivates from marijuana, if stores and shopping malls were marijuana free, it would improve the quality of rest for so many people. Even for people who aren´t health with marijuana, I think they would appreciate it too. For example, last week I was on my friend´s house. My friend was vaporizing marijuana! I saw how he calmed down. Then, when I was in the park going home from my friend´s house, two people was smoking marijuana on the grass area. Both those experiences are examples of how normal people can have positive experiences with marijuana too. I would say that I like about 70% of the marijuana on the market today. And I´m not even use them. Another reason I think marijuana should be legal in Canada is because marijuana are basically just a great exchange instrument that we have into our daily life. It´s safety for whole population to be using when they need it. There are synthetic chemicals added in the most of the medicines that people use instead of natural alternatives like derivates from marijuana. Actually, I bought some natural soap a few months ago and it´s the best soap I´ve ever used! My skin feels so soft. I realized that my dry skin problem was caused by using soap filled with chemicals! I think our society would be so much healhier if we got rid of chemicals completely. Anyway, those the reasons why I think marijuana should be legal in Canada.

I think marijuana should be legalized in Canada because of several reasons. First, marijuana has a lot of health benefits. It is used in treating and suppressing adverse effects of certain health condition such as convulsion. For example, I was watching a documentary on the TV sometimes ago that featured a little girl of age 9 who has a condition that makes her to convulse about 20 times a day. The documentary showed an active moment when the girl started convulsing severely and immediately the mother gave a dose of marijuana, she immediately regain her normal condition which helped her through the day. It is a quick relief to related conditions that safes life of patients undergoing such condition. Also, it reduce risk and increases family members involvement in other activities of the household. A family member going through a health condition that can be treated with marijuana will require a great lots of attention and may require time in traveling to get treatment in other state or country where marijuana is legalized. This will eat so much into the family finances and brings about risk involved in traveling. Another reason is that it may lead to the discovery of cure or solution to other health problems because its accessibility in the country will break barriers to the availability and provides tools for research experiments. So, those are the reasons why I think marijuana should be legalized.

I my opinion I think Canada should not legalize marijuana because of several reasons. First of all studies have shown that marijuana has the potential of destroying functional normal brain cells and cause someone to act in a Strange way. For example I know of a friend in high school who scored high grades but as soon as he started smoking marijuana his grades started dropping. Sadly he could not even graduate. Another reason why I don’t support legalization of marijuana is that it impairs people’s judgement. Just a few weeks ago four of my good friends died in a car accident due to the use of marijuana. For those reasons I do not support Canada to legalize marijuana.

I do believe that Canada should legalize using Marijuana and I have some reasons to support my opinion. First of all, I know this chemical has been used for treating some specific diseases. A friend of mine has a disease that causes a huge pain in her kidneys and she has to take sth to suppress the pain. Her doctor actually prescribed her Marijuana. By legalizing this chemical, she will have better and easier access to it which will improve her quality of life. Secondly, people have a right to choose themselves if they want to use marijuana or not. If Canada is a free country, it should give this right to its residences. I think marijuana shouldn’t be legalized in Canada for several reasons. Firstly, most of the countries are banned marijuana; for example, American, China, United Kingdom, and lots of countries in the worlds. If marijuana has many good reasons for society, I don’t know why marijuana get banned in these countries for now. They have so many people and high GDP. If marijuana has a medical purpose, why they still said “NO” even there are lots of people having cancer or another disease because of the high population. Secondly, marijuana-using is causing an increase in car crashes. While using drugs, people are less able to do well in driving. I lived in a city without well-developed public transportation and most people have to drive all the time even used marijuana. For example, you go to a party and they provide drugs for fun. It’s really relaxing and you have some different experiences in lots of ways. It’s great. But when you go home, it’s hard for you to drive like you can’t drive if you are really drunk. If the government supports the marijuana legalization, it will be unrealistic for any parties without marijuana and alcoholic. And I saw the news that mixing marijuana and alcoholic will produce something chemical and it affects the body a lot.

I think that Canada shouldn’t legalize Marijuana. There are several reasons that support my idea in this context. Frist of all, we can mention the possible increasing rate of car accidents due to consumption of Marijuana while driving. To me, no one can control or know who of the drivers are consuming or not Marijuana. The other issue to mention is that due to illegalization of this kind of drug, many young persons who were afraid of judiciary process and consequences and didn’t use the Marijuana now they feel free to use it. So, we will be probably witness of the rise of consumption among young generation and it could affect also the students study. I heard that some students were happy to say that they can smoke marijuana in the school as well and no one will know that. So, that could definitely affect students. Anyway, that’s all that I can say about why Marijuana shouldn’t be legalized.

Legalizing Marijuana in Canada or not is a controversial issue. I am not convinced, but I think it is mostly true that legalizing marijuana will affect very bad in the life of Canadians. There are several reasons why I am thinking like that. Firstly, it may cause a brain cancer. I read about this in the magazine of discovery channel. Most of the people in Afghanistan dies very young because of using such this things. Secondly, it will affect badly for lounges. Anyway, the health of people who uses marijuana will develop with the critic. Finally, we will have families with diseases, and in the future Canada will not be improved like now. But within minutes of smoking marijuana, the person was sitting still with no shaking and can talk normally like any other human being. Lastly, it will help in reducing crime and shady street vendors. With regulated supply, people can legally buy it from shops and also get guaranteed genuine material, instead of synthetic marijuana, which caused havoc and fatalities last year in Chicago and New York. In my opinion, marijuana should be legalized in Canada for several reasons. The first reason is the teenage's lake of information. The young people don't have enough knowledge about the dangers and side effect of marijuana. Because, in normal education, the teacher doesn't give the relevant information to the student in this regard. I think Maraguana should not be legalize in Canada for several reasons.
