Here in Switzerland actually nobody knows them .... its a shame... they were so influential... I saw them at Wacken, I think it was 2006... they destroyed everybody at this festival... the crowd was so surprised how good they were... they are simply amazing....

The unfortunate and yet ultimately legendary production elements in this album are entirely the fault of the company that pretty much were very miserly with their budget and you could say the same for just about every artist on Noise Records at the time that while the Sonic Clarity was definitely lacking the intensity of the performances the sheer ferocity and urgency to get these songs out into the world and the absolute conviction the band had was nothing short of monumentally inspired considering the the record label itself was actively f****** with them in terms of budgets and even this video the band felt was disappointing because it was shot on video tape instead of film and has a DIY quality to it however I feel it adds to the intensity and realism looking more like documentary footage than something staged. Frost were innovators far and away and when you consider this music came from basically teenagers who were stuck in a abysmal farming community in Switzerland of all places.. it is nothing short of a prophetic and somehow demonically or divinely inspired that they should have ever became the legends that they are. They simply were unlike any other band at the time.

Anybody who prefers Obituary's cover has no clue. And that solo... it's all about expression... it's totally evil.
