This was my grandma’s favorite song. I miss her so much. We listened to the Celtic woman every night when they came on the tv. I still listen and think of how much she loved this beautiful women.

A Ceili is a social gathering that originated in Ireland and Scotland. Traditionally, it was a sort of festival, and songs were sung; poetry was read; and stories were told. In the modern sense it still refers to that sort of thing, but it's narrower now than it use to be, referring to a social gathering with music and dancing. I hope this helps.

Not quite, as Lisa's song husband shall we call him has sailed to America, presumably in the Irish potato blight or something like that and they are unlikely to ever see each other again unless Lisa's character also sails. So its more like she's just forced to move on. And Meav's character clearly chose the man she loved over the rich guy, no one can blame a woman for considering her options.

Lisa's part was 'my own true love' not her husband, it talks pretty much of finding a love closer to home, instead of love existing through letters... Meav's part is pursuing her... that she has to make her mind up, and is weighing up the pro's and con's lol... :)
