Hauser was great for us this year, knows our system. Almost broke the Celtics 3 pt record if not for a rolled ankle. Played good D in playoffs. Let’s pump the brakes a bit

For college basketball which features a lot of zone defense, meaning - the tall centers are in the shaded area, a 9 rebounds game for a 6 ft 6 shooter is outstanding. This boy is a gold mine. Most elite centers in college basketball dont even average that much.

I think his age and experience is a big plus, he's got a better chance of cracking the rotation in the next 2-3 years. Young players need more reps and a few years to personally and physically mature, Celtics don't have time for that rn

Baylor being a good golf player accounts for hs good shooting skills. Golf and shooting both are based heavily on steady wrist pulses for accuracy

We’re actively trying to sign Sam, just picked up his 2.1 million dollar option. This might be a replacement but it’s not right now. It’s insurance. Let the kid develop, if Sam signs and it’s a decent contract he’s very tradable when this kids ready to step up.

I think, with his background as a multisport kid, he will be one of the best to pick up new skills. So maybe he can get sneaky steals, white sneaky blocks

Looking back at recent drafts only one or two of the picks 15 to 25 make an impact while three of the last five picks make an impact.

The thing people tend to miss with draft prospects is that in college these guys got to do anything they wanted. This kid had the ball in his hands all the time. He brought the ball up and made decisions. That will NEVER HAPPEN in the NBA. He will HAVE to be a guy who runs around screens off-ball and just catch-shoot or pass. So this kid has to completely change his whole game in order to just get on the floor in an NBA game. He is too slow to be a guard. So get that out of your head now. He is not really tall or athletic enough to be a legit wing in this league as well. He is a shooting specialist. Whether the fans here want to admit that or not. So it comes down to his defense. If he can learn to play some sort of team Defense, than maybe he can play in a year or 2. But that is a big IF because he doesn't really have the tools for that. He is shorter, and slower than Sam Hauser is. Sooooo...

A new mock draft for the 2nd round has been released and Filipowski wasn't even drafted. Cs should draft him or Brony and trade him for Knecht and 2nd rounders.

Good thing he's not undersized, active rebounder and shoot threes. His defense could be improved like Hauser. Gone were the days we're drafting too many undersized guards but Bronny is still available at the second round.😆☘

I see houser signing a extention. I personaly would start him at the 3. Tatum plays better with him on floor. Move Holiday to bench and develop a whole second lineup based around Holiday, Horford and young guns.

Hauser is not a starter imo. An instant offense bench guy is his role.

@@mattclark6721 why does everything have to be an argument? Of course he could start. I stated in my opinion. When you play 2K start him. I won't. A spot starter is not a starter. Someone who starts because another player is unavailable is fullfilling his role as a reserve.

2k really that's how you base basketball thoughts. I start horford and bring holiday off bench in 2k. Would you not consider horford a starting level player?
