The Nissan X-Trail VC-turbo mild hybrid is soon to be launched in India at an expected pricing of ₹40-45L
It is currently the second Nissan product in India after the Magnite.
The X-Trail will be sold in India as CBU import.
The biggest Highlight of the Nissan X-Trail is it's World's First 1.5 Turbo Petrol 3 cylinder engine with Variable Compression Ratio technology also including both types of Injection systems; MPFI & GDI.
The Indian X-Trail is a FWD crossover style SUV with 5+2 seating capacity.

Its more of Nissan Rogue model, which is one of the successful SUV in USA, I believe it might have 2.5 ltr or 1.5 ltr engines

Based on specs xtrail 2024 is less probability to compete with other brands of similar model, since this xtrail only has 3 cylinders even it is has close to 150bhp, Indian buyers mostly thinks whether it is worth spending nearly 40L for this though it is loaded with huge features. If it comes with 4 cylinders definitely a chance to come back for Nissan in India.

Expected one. Looks like The Hybrid evolution is getting started. Hope the car attains success. As the car comes through CBU route, there might be limited sales numbers. They could have included Nissan Qashqai to the launch as well. If launched, the current mid size crossover may face the heat of this car. Also, the new Honda Crv eFCEV has been launched in Japan. Hope they bring it here soon 🙄

In middle east version has 2.5L 4 cylinder engine comes in 5 and 7 seater.... Cvt for automatic..... Since NISSAN, RENAULT & MITSUBISHI have strategic alliance the same engine has been used in RENAULT koleos and Mitsubishi outlander..... But india launch is going to be three cylinder engine 1.5L (speculated).....Lets c the price range and features......

Waste of time to invest this car in India. they should be relaunch the terrano under 10 to 18L with hybrid (electric+petrol). Tucsson and compass are failure.
