Soundness of cenent determined by two tests: Le chatliers test and Autoclave test. Le Chatliers measures unsoundness due to presence of free lime and Autoclave test measures unsoundness due to both lime and magnesia.

Ala gypsum setting reduce cheyum ( delays setting ) means setting time increase cheyum. Cacl2 accelerator ale ..ath setting time decrease cheyana use cheyane.
