To be fair , it was stated that machinedramon was created by fusing many cyborg type digimon in one Digimon

@@ulforcemegamon3094 Machinedramon was a combination of multiple experimental weapons that were used on many digimons to create their machine counterparts, and yes some machine digimon are literally the nessecary components themselves

From what i know they can all become one of the four sovereigns according to their info on wikimon and most likely evolve from armor digimon. The fact that the devas work for the sovereigns and an army of armor level digimon work under the devas supports it too. Many of them even look like their armor or deva pre-evos too. For instance, azulongmons head covering and lighting bolt horn is near identical to raidramons. Antagonists having their pre-evolutions as servants is kind of a digimon trope too like leomon dying and goggles on the leaders head. Etemon having gazimon and myotosmon/vamdemon having demidevimon as minions is another. Both of those are canon pre-evos. Royal knights like lordknightmon/crusadermon commanding an army of knightmon is another example.

@@screechingtoad2683 thats true but i never said they didn't have more than one canon line. Agumon has tyrannomon and patamon has unimon and piddomon to name a couple. Digimon evolution is very flexible like that. They also never showed the andiramon from tamers champion or mega level either. They did in the digimon movie but thats a different lopmon. The andiramon in tamers is actually a variant called andiramon (deva). Lopmon can become prairiemon who can become andiramon (deva) too. The deva andiramon has slightly different posdibke evolutions and looks slightly different too. Andiramon (deva) can evolve into any of the sovereigns from there so take your pick. Im guessing tamers andiramon has that line. Theres other variant digimon too. The agumon, kudamon, falcomon and yatagaramon in savers are all variants too. In fact the vanilla non-variant brown and green feathered falcomon will be one of the characters in digimon survives partners and get its first official appearance outside the tcg!! Its in the trailer and everything. Im excited to see if it has an original evolution line of new bird digimon. Imma be mad if it just evolves into normal savers peckmon then the savers yatagaramon and ravemon. Give og yatagaramon some love at least!

@@Coomamon_Memes In tamers, one of the ones that went to the digital world got a Guardromon partner that dedigivolved from an andromon, so they did show that one. Also, for the original comment, i meant if they digivolved normally and not through armor digivolution. thats what i was wondering

@@screechingtoad2683 digimon dont need the armor digieggs to become those digimon though. The armor eggs are basically cheat items that let digimon evolve into a guaranteed digimon. Like it lets veemon get to flamedramon whenever it needs and bypasses normal restrictions like dark towers or its normal evolution requirements like crests or v-pet stuff adopted by the anime. Remember in 02 they mentioned that the partners were all ancient species of digimon and only they can use them because of it? Its because during ancient times, it was near impossible to go past rookie level in most cases and the armor eggs were made to bypass that restriction. They only used them in 02 because of the dark towers and no longer needed them once they could evolve to champion level. Naturally evolved armor digimon are considered champion level and somewhat rare in the modern digital world but nothing special. Thats why there were literal armies of them attacking tokyo when the devas invaded. There would need to be hundreds or thousands of the same armor egg to make an army like that otherwise. I highly suggest checking out the wiki i recommended to learn more. Everything you could want to know about digimon is there to read about. I go on there and read about the lore and the digimon for hours sometimes. Good stuff. Its got official art, pictures and everything.
