This is good stuff. I played outfield all the way to the juco level and was never taught, or thought, to come off the ball like that. Those extra feet can make a big difference.

Sean Casey is such a great dude! I had the chance to meet him on multiple occasions and he's every bit as gregarious and kind and genuine in person as he is on camera! I don't know the other gentleman but he seems like a good teacher. Certainly sounds to me like he'd be a great coach someday!

My coach puts me at center because of my arm but I suck at catching popflys that go over my head so I really hope this helps

Mariners haven't had a decent and consistent outfielder since Griffey. Hopefully Smith can change that.
