I really like the Atari 2600 port, but the 7800 port is my favorite. The programmer even managed to include artwork from the arcade cabinet.

Good video! and review of this game! I do like the Atari 7800 version of it! The graphics are a bit better! Nice!

I haven't played the 400/800 version, but after playing both Centipede and Millipede on the 2600, I prefer Millipede. It's a great sequel.

This game is an instance of the 5200 version being far superior to its 8bit brother.

True. For me, the 5200 version is a bit too hard to be fun. The 7800 version REALLY shines though!

I have the boxed version of this, and I have to say that cover was just weird. Fun enough, but I'll still play the arcade version over this one.

I love the Atari 8-bit reviews! I always thought Millipede was a much better game and a better port. As a side note, Landon Dyer wrote a Centipede clone called Myriapede for an Atari Program Exchange contest. Atari liked the game, but he did not win the contest because it was a clone of an existing game. However, they did hire Landon to write Donkey Kong for the Atari 8-bit.
