In this episode we finally leave the Darwin region as we head up for our next exciting chapter in East Arnhem Land! The Central Arnhem Road is 700kms of beaten up dirt track with multiple river crossings and takes us through some of the most remote country in Australia, the gateway to East Arnhem Land. Stopping first at Katherine we then travel to Mainoru Store for an over night stopover and swim in a crystal clear spring fed river before making it to our new home in Nhulunbuy. Enjoy!

Thanks Matt, its going to be a pretty epic 6 months, bought a boat last week so hopefully it arrives on the barge next week, then we are levelling up our fishing!! 👍🍻

Thanks Thomas! Looking forward to really getting to know the area once it stops raining! We had booked the most amazing campsite over easter but about 250mm of rain since Friday put an end to that! 🍻👍

Well done guys, what an experience for you both. I remember that area really well. I use to be a pilot and was based out at Numbulwar in the mid 80’s. I was only 21 then. It was hard going at the time. Great drone and camera work. Keep it up and enjoy guys.

Thanks Rohan, yup, i think connections to the mainland must have vastly improved since the 80's! You can get a woolies delivery here now. (We are on Elcho Island) Only comes once a week, and costs about $170 in delivery, but still exists! Glad you enjoy the content. 👍🍻👍

Hey Geoff, do you mean in the description? Technically Gove is not a place, there is Nhulunbuy and the Gove Peninsula. People generally don't call it Gove unless they have been there. 👍🍻

@@VetinaVan when you buy a plane ticket on Air North it’s Gove not Nhulunbuy. Great Place did you get out to the golf course for a feed. Interesting to watch the 3.30 curfew where it turns into a ghost town .Cheer

I’m only 3 minutes into this video, and I really do think you DO need to tow a ‘boat’. Just think of all that healthy fish and the places you can reach with a boat.

You are 100% correct! Picked it up last week mate, 5.2m Formosa Classic. Took it out last weekend, back out again tomorrow. 👍👍🍻🍻
