How do you , escape the bridge law with your tandems on your trailer all the way back, in California?

All 48' trailers are exempt from KPRA laws (King pin to rear axle). But like I said, 48' trailers existed before the current federal bridge weight formula, so they are grandfathered in under the STAA. Surface Transportation Administration Act
