​@@mewangie40Fantastic! I'm Ichiryou team, instead. I always loved them since the first episode! I like Kisshu, however Ryou more with Ichigo. I hated New 🤣 New destroyed the ship I adore so much! It was really a total disappointment. I prefer 100 times the original version. Kisshu I also prefer him in the original. New silenced Ichigo's relationship with Ryou but also belittled as I see it, Ichigo's relationship with Kisshu by only favouring that artichoke Aoyama.. 🙄🙄🤦‍♀️

​@@mewangie40You know, I had high expectations since it was supposed to be faithful to the manga, but it wasn't as far as I was concerned. They changed scenes and dialogue, removed scenes 🤷‍♀️ At least the original gave proper honour to Ryou and Kisshu, it balanced all three relationships. New eliminated that deep relationship that there should have been between Ryou and Ichigo. There is no development in their relationship in New. It simply sucks 🤦‍♀️

@@amy24r Yes it's true... they remove Ichigo/ Ryou in this version...Personnaly I prefer the new anime, but I would like they follow more the manga. There are scenes who has been delete or change in tokyo mew mew new... and even Kishigo relationship were less deep than in the manga in my opinion

It's precisely for the reasons you also mentioned that I don't like the new version. I'm sorry.. The new version despite a normal anime in 24 episodes manages to tell a story very well, New is honestly very rushed to tell the whole story. It gives that sense of hurry and fury. The original anime has its flaws it's true, and certain details were done better in New, such as giving importance to all the girls. But even in this, they erased the sense of uniqueness that made Ryou 'prefer' Ichigo and pushed him towards Lettuce... he cares little for Ichigo. He doesn't even seem to be in love with her but more with Lettuce. In the original it was perceived that he had feelings for Ichigo and a normal brotherly affection for Lettuce. In New the opposite! And I was really disappointed 'cause Yoshida was clear about the feeling Ryou, Masaya and Kisshu have for Ichigo. They turned him into a guy who is only capable of teasing her. They even removed the scene where he apologised for calling her a biological weapon, which was crucial to the development of their relationship! I also really wanted to see the almost-kiss scene, when Alto first appears. He too, a totally belittled character, doesn't even show up the first time, in the manga he even appears in the aquarium episode, where there's that very sweet scene between them. Deleted that too and another kiss. That is, with Ryou there should have been more 'serious and emotional' scenes that would have contributed to the growth of the relationship. In the original adaptation, they didn't follow the manga too much but at least they put in scenes that made the relationship between them special. Same with Kisshu, too psychopathic, too evil, one cannot sense his love for Ichigo and his suffering after she tells him that she wants her imbecile boyfriend. I really liked the scene where he cries in front of Ichigo in New, but also the fact that the BK always beats him... It seems like the knight is stronger than the girls at any moment if he can take out poor Kisshu with one blow. No and no. I don't agree with that at all. In the original it was realistic that this knight also has weaknesses and isn't presented as 'the invincible'. And as for the knight, they even removed the part where Ichigo thinks he's Ryou. Not to mention the episode about his past... obscene. An episode that was supposed to focus on their relationship quickly turned into a Ryou/Lettuce episode 😪 Come on ... after all these things I listed, surely New can't be my absolute favourite version! 😂 In fact, I regretted watching it to the end. For me there're more negatives than positives..
