I like the way they say "power extreme" and the whole weapon system gets attached to their body suits with the "bam bam" sound 😀😄. I miss my childhood cartoons 😭. Also I never knew there were two more centurions other than the original three men

More like Iron Man, GI Joe and commandos in one package. Plus, Doc Terorr can make even Cobra Commander and today villains, like Osama, look like the bunch of kids: a former scientist, who became to be a hybrid cyborg, criminal mastermind and terrorist, a skilled tactician and strategist, a pioneer in cybernetics and bionics, anything you name it. All of his plans are flawless, unlike those of Megatron's, and he's schemes are no small games either: like starting the fire on Van Allen's belt, so he can blackmailed the entire world to surrender, or using the moon ore as artificial meteors in order to bombard the world into submission. I think, even Cobra Commander or today's terrorists, like Usama bin Laden or ISIS are no match for him. I mean, what's the best they can pull off? Capturing some planes, so you can ram some buildings? Please! For Terror, those things are so passe! Why bother with some planes, when you can use your own Doom Drones to get the job done? So, now you can see, why Doc Terror is my favorite villain.

I use to watch this as a kid. Never found out how many sets they had. Couldn't see it all due to it being in the 80's.

Jake Rockwell had the most with six (Fireforce, Detonator, Hornet, Wild Weasel, Awesome Auger, and Swingshot), Max Ray had five (Cruiser, Tidal Blast, Depth Charger, Sea Bat, and Fathom Fan), and Ace McCloud had four (Sky Knight, Sky Bolt, Orbital Interceptor, and Strato Striker). Newcomers John Thunder and Rex Charger had two each (Silent Arrow and Thunder Knife for John, Electrocharger and Gatling Guard for Rex). No doubt they would have had many more had the line continued, but the show was canceled too soon. Fathom Fan, Strato Strike, Awesome Auger, and everything having to do with Rex and John were never even made into toys, but they made it into the show. There were even more toy ideas that never made it into the show at all, including three "upgrades" for Fireforce, Cruiser, and Sky Knight called Land-Laser, Aqua-Blazer, and Aero-Sault; Sky Scaler and Wall Walker sets for unknown characters; and a sixth Centurion, Ace's brother Vic McCloud, with his own space-themed armor sets. This show was just one big pile of What Could Have Been.

I Ioved this cartoon growing up! Ace is my favorite and I loved Skynight and Orbital Interceptor. I had no idea it was done with a Japan studio! It made sense why it looked so good and the animations for that time was fire! Oh and I for over 20+ years kept saying ‘analyze’ instead of energize ugh!!

Even though I've been watching it, and recorded all episodes I still watch it till this day in reruns til this day I encourage the younger generation today to watch it ,it's the best one ever created and thanks to all that made it possible.

Robert Ridgely is one of two people who played Tarzan and Flash Gordon (albeit he only voiced them). The other was Larry "Buster" Crabbe.

It's a union thing. She had one job to do. She sits at the computer and tells it where to send equipment. Nobody gets paid to make this smoother and easier. lol

my favourite was orbital interceptor and its funny Maxs 2:57 Depth chargers back pack always goes at last on his back even when the camera is starting from his back side and back pack beside beamed down. lol

I still took what Ace McCloud said very seriously when he said. "Boy, there's never anything good on television." What's this now? Watch for words? Do you have to make What's good, Ace? Is that what? It's going to be hard to do that. You have to put it into practice first. That's what works. 🤔

I never did figure out why the Land Specialist got a helicopter system. Maybe he can't fly very high with it so it still counts? Got even weirder when they decided Hornet was compatible with Max's suit so he could actually be useful when there was no water around.
