quick question. Planning to use the 1gzfe as a ratrod's engine. Can you please suggest what's a good Standalone ECU / engine management system that I can use for it?
@Elxmo
@Elxmo 3 жыл бұрын
@@Tabletop-Newtype anything good for a 6 cylinder really (double up for injection and ignition), as always, Haltech if possible (decide what one suits you best) in my humble opinion Haltech is the best bang for buck ECU on the market for both functionality and user friendly-ness.
@BennysCustomWorks
@BennysCustomWorks 3 жыл бұрын
@@Tabletop-Newtype the haltech nexus would be perfect as it will do 12 cyl sequential injection/ ignition and dual E throttle. It’ll also run all of the body control items such as lights, wipers, fuel pumps, fans etc via the inbuilt PDM.

Whenever you reuse hoses, and you have those deposits on them, get like 3 fist sized lemons, peel them, drop them in about ..eh ~2 liters of water boil them twice, and then put the hot water (not at 100c) in a container that can take the heat and fit those hoses, and drop the hoses in. Once the water is easy to handle, you can give them a rinse and the deposits should be gone (mostly for hardwater, but it does clean other types of crud too).

More people should watch this video so they know what they're getting themselves into when they are influenced by all these other videos titled "the best luxury car for 20k", etc., etc. You have to get parts for it and maintain it. That's something Doug Demuro never talks about when he reviews these "great buys". I'm sure the Century is a great car but all cars needs maintenance.
