I've been using the app for more than a year and all I get are guys who are looking for women they can talk to about their libido. Always asking if i am open minded then start talking about sending them pic then so on and on. I think a lot of profiles there are fake too

It's one of the better apps out there, with regards to the free features. But what is AWFUL is how many NON-MUSLIMS are on there. Even after reporting, they're still there. The point of us looking on a Muslim app is to find Muslims. Some of us want a Nikaah with only Muslims. Or am I wrong?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the App. The app is great. We cannot blame an app which cannot control us, we control the app on depending on how we use it. Thank you Shaz for creating this platform. I know people have found success on here. We just need to stop being so negative. Qadar plays a huge part in our lives, as well as what we receive. How about spending some money on a team who responds to questions? Your help section is an absolute joke. Your algorithm is flawed and that's proven by the genuine people being a minority on there. How about filtering out profiles that 'have not been completed yet' so that swipes aren't wasted on it. There's a reason why your company gets these messages and you're obviously aware of the faults. Maybe spend time working on it instead of releasing a video about the so called 'mean' things people say. It's born out of frustration from using an app that's made you money. You couldn't care less.

My main problem and the thing that confuses me is the blurred functionality, what is the point, if you are embarrassed then get your parents to find you a husband. Most of them have hijab on anyway so you are protecting your modesty

I think there is a stigma with a lot of the girls about being honest with who they are . Thanks for not using mine 😅 but I dont think ive said anything mean persay just what I've noticed and its about the sister's and mainly their culture outside of Islam astaghfirullah being more important. Insha'Allah I'll find someone. A suggestion could you put in an option for relocation like an example someone living in New York may not want to relocate to another state, that might help reduce the search field even though i have to keep expanding mine 😅. Also is there an article or video about relocating outside your country say someone from Canada or Europe to the US and how to go about doing that? Oh and to prevent catfishing maybe verify photos before allowing them? It baffles me you can't pay someone or create an algorithm that can reverse image search before allowing a pic. Yyour filters are broken and still show people who have children even if you specified youre looking for something else.

Honestly I don't like the founders of these apps, even though they are Muslims. Because all they care about is money, they have these extra options for purchase, "Boost your page", "Direct Messages", "Reset Swipes", and they're not cheap! each direct message is about 2-3$...and they know that once they add these options, people find it necessary to buy out of desperation, cause let's say you like someone that you think would be a good match, but then you see the direct message option and for one second you think about how many other guys might have paid and messaged her, so your "Like" won't even get noticed even though you paid for the monthly subscription to express your interest with Likes, but the Like button doesn't work anymore if others are sending direct messages...so now you feel compelled to pay for it...it's crazy and so unfair, and it's mostly on us guys, probably girls won't have this issue cause they usually don't send messages...but for us guys they create this competition just to empty our pockets...and it's sad when you know the founders are Muslim and they claim they care about us! that's why I hate the app, and I never paid once for direct messages regardless how nasty the competition is :)

I've mentioned a few things I think are important for the users and the app to consider. Firstly, I wanna add my 2 cents to the blurred pic convo as a user. I dont think blurred feature needs to be removed. Rather I think it's a good feature which allows females to display hayaa (and males if you're shy). More traditional ways of matchmaking in the muslim community happens based on biodata CV details and upon request the brides side will send photos as its internet at the end of the day. If you're complaining that people putting fake details on then thats a user mentality problem which even if blurred pics were not allowed it would still be a problem because user would then just use a fake picture. The app cant solve a rotten heart. But if there was a way to vet these people and filter them out then that would be constructive for the app. Also, just a point on psychology, anyone who has seen catfish or has come across keyboard warriors will note that social media profiles by their very nature allow a person to portray themselves however they wish. It's not something we can escape really but the app can also put checks and balances in place which can push more honesty and fake descriptions to be changed or removed. E.g. whilst the app has selfie verification I've come across profiles with edited photos which show changed eye colour, skin tone, beauty and large eyes filter etc.

Lol funny don't blame the app. Muzmatch is after all still a dating app. It has a similar profile layout to that of another app. Being a dating app it has all the fun and games any dating app has to offer. Only unique feature of muzmatch is that all users there are Muslims. So have fun making connections and also getting rejected like you never have before

The app works great. But i wish you would get one free chat a day without paying for it. The subcribion fee is a little to high for just one chat a day. If you are what older and average looking like me. Its a little more difficult to choose to who you say hello. Because alot of women say they want to learn People. But don't do not even the effort to learn a little more about you before making the choice that you are not the one.
