we tackled the infamous first Target shop, had plenty of appointments and ended the night at the Polynesian beach to watch Happily Ever After from afar.

Random question! I am hoping to join the program next year and heard getting your own bedroom/space is SUPER HARD. Do you have any tips for how you were able to score your own room, or did you simply get lucky?

we were weirdly lucky actually - we put 2x2 (shared bedroom) as our top choice and I know others who ranked our apartment type highest yet ended up sharing a bedroom. I think it's all down to availability but there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to who gets what, unless you have a genuine medical accommodation 😖
