Cepher Bible Review
The Cepher, sometime referred to as the “Cepher Bible,” is a non-scholarly work that claims to restore many “missing” books, phrases, and chapters to the Bible. The book is officially titled Eth Cepher, from the Hebrew words for “divinity” and “book.” The publishers claim that they do not call their work a “Bible”; however, they refer to the material incessantly as “biblical” in every other aspect. For all intents and purposes, the Cepher is a custom translation/compilation of the Bible. Save calling it a “Bible” directly, that’s exactly how the Cepher is marketed.
The Cepher can be fairly described as non-scholarly based on information from its own publishers. This work was not produced by qualified scholars or through an actual process of translation. First, the authors added books that they deemed “missing” from the orthodox Bible, contradicting the opinions of most biblical scholars. Then the words of the text were “transliterated” and cross-referenced with a concordance. The end product is whatever the editor thought the text should say. This type of bias is essentially what publishers of the Cepher accuse other versions of, though the Cepher’s authors have less academic background than those they claim are getting it wrong.
Despite not directly calling the Cepher a “Bible,” the authors have included a significant amount of material, sometimes interspersed with the biblical text, that Bible scholars have long rejected as non-canonical. Reading the Cepher, one encounters a mix of inspired and non-inspired material.
Though the Cepher is a relatively new publication, it seems to have strong connections to the Hebrew Roots movement. This, in and of itself, is a cause for concern.

In 2015 i prayed to God and told him i wanted to know Him more but i had a niv bible and knew it wasn't very accurate and i asked him to provide me with a bible that was more accurate in 2016 someone completely ramdomly gifted me the eth cepher

HalleluYAH Praise God. Yeah unfortunately the NIV has verses missing. I think maybe the verses in matthew about fasting and other parts completely missing but other than that its a easy to read version. when i first came to christ 2.5 years ago, I was looking at the Cepher, but I didn't get it. Yesterday in prayer, Yahuah shows me He wants me to get closer to Him, and then started to bring me to His real name. No more speaking the words God/Lord/Jesus Christ anymore. I have been researching the Complete Jewish and the MLJT Bibles and will be getting the Cepher, too, because I have also wanted the Apocrypha. I also believe i am going to start learning Hebrew! Cepher is a great book and for anyone to get deeper in the word with more proper translations. Makes a huge difference and would really open the eyes of an average Christian if they learn some important hebrew words.

I Mainly use that bible as a reference bible now - I got the Cepher app and Cepher bible so i don't need it really anymore - was my first bible back in late 2018 (when i got saved)

I had family members in this band and was surprised to hear you play this. I have got the record given by my uncle who played the guiro(fish) a wooden instrument and a distant relative is the singer. They are from the Bedford area and made this in I think 1983.By the way I loved your Cepher review and saw one at a relatives house and got interested but have not purchased it yet. @@virtuousministries I was doing more research into this and it seems to be lacking Bible scholarly support, in other words the editors of it are not scholarly trained. Therefore they take concordance and transliterate the language. Do you believe that to be so ? I’m still going to read it though and pray for discernment

I do know that theres More information about it on Cepher.net the information they put in the Cepher about the Books being doctored or changed however is Taken from the records so i know its Legit. Hebrew reads right to left. So you mixed up the letters. The Aleph is on the right and Tav or Taw is on the left.

I Have NO idea. 👍 Read a Copy for yourself. I Mainly Read my AMP now I Love that version. Got this to Study the Lost Books; Enoch, Baruch, Jasher, Jubilees and Others... Studied them and now I don't really read this as most of it is Written in Hebrew - Which requires me to keep stopping and Googling the Meaning of Words - which can be frustrating when you just want to Read for a few hours with no distractions.

i notice you have the Holy scriptures, (the little grey Bible,) thats exactly what made me buy the Et Cepher, the missing verses throughout the holy scriptures, Matt 17;21 18;11/23;14, Mark 7;16/9;44/9;46/11;26/15;28 Luke17;36 John5;4 Acts8;37/15;34/24;7/28;29 Romans16;24 these were all replaced with a slash ~~~~ im also recieving the Geneva 1560 Bible tomorrow, thank you for this review, stay blessed

I have NO idea. 👍 But furthermore why are you even asking me that question? I barely read my Cepher now... I studied it for a season and now i am reading AMP version mainly. If you stay in "One version" of the word for your Life - you will NEVER see the Blessings in other translations. 👍 Cepher is and was definately an interesting read given that it had books like Jubilees and Enoch and others that was taken out - but i am not a Cepher Snob or a KJV snob like some people 🤣😂 The word is to be Meditated on. And one can only Meditate on verses that have spoke to ones spirit by reading "multiple versions " and then seeking God through prayer, fasting and studying his word. 🙏 Why would you dedicate your time to trying to find holes in my videos??? Don't you know that is the same spirit of the Pharisees? Spirits of Accusation (Satan the Accuser) I Forgive you if thats what you was doing. But it says a Lot more about you than it does me. 🙏 But given how direct your comment was - i don't think you was asking me a sincere Question but rather and Insincere one?? Maybe Im wrong. I would like to comment. Lets see if this Bible is as good or as bad as people say it is. -It mis-spells the Hebrew word for "book". It's SEFER, not "CEPHER". ( There is not a letter "C" in Hebrew.) -"et" is a Hebrew that is not and cannot really be translated into English. -Having the O.T. Apocrypha will be a problem. For example, in the Book of Tobit- the angel does NOT act like a Biblical angel. -The Book of Enoch proves itself to be FALSE within the first 3 verses. -"Yahusha" is NOT the name of the Messiah. His Hebrew name is YESHUA. ALL Israeli and REAL Messianics call Him YESHUA. -The person who made this "translation" does NOT know Hebrew!!!!!! -I will list the English word that is mis-spell as "Hebrew". Jericho, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, -Yahuah? That is an insult to all who have honoured the Name of G-d. One will NOT find a Jewish rabbi who agrees that "Yahuah" is the Divine Name. -"Men"? Are you sure? Do you know what the Hebrew says? People need to have a better standing of the language if one is going to review a Bible translation.

@Looter If it was a corrupt Bible I guarantee it would be readily available to the Public and not printed in such limited amounts, have you seen the prices for these things I saw a second hand one on EBay selling for over 300 bucks my advice to you would be to grab one now while it’s still affordable.

Yes well.. I recently threw my Cepher out anyways. 🙏 Donated it to Charity. I had it... Read Book of Enoch the Books of Jasher and the 1 and 2nd Baruch and a the other Books that are in the Cepher which are NOT in regular Bibles. I was given it by a Pastor of a Hebrew Israelite church who didn't take Kindly to me Confronting sin in His congregation. I decided to leave the Hebrew Israelite church after being Treated Poorly by the Pastor - Especially given my situation that i came there With PTSD and trauma following being involved in the occult - Wasn't really treated in a Good manner considering he knew my situation. Noticed the congregation itself was Focused on Legalism and Keeping the Torah - So Much so that they Became 'Pharisitical' in their approach in Dealing with people - especially those whom have Been Rejected and Abused. After Examining this and the Fact they read the Cepher i came to the Realization that the Spirits Operating behind Such Doctrine and the Bible itself are spirits of Intellectualism, Legalism, Religion, Self Righteousness - ALL spirits of Self Exaltation, Pride and Self Importance. My latest Bible i read now is an AMP Study Bible - which is one of the Most Clearest , Poignant and Poetic versions of the Bible - I Literally can sit and read hours of it - without Having to stop to Google certain words and things - its very Enjoyable. I dunno whether the Cepher itself is Demonic Doctrine... But considering what has Happened with the congregation itself and perhaps the fact the pastor originally wanted to charge me around 90 dollars for the scripture itself - I am concerned about such. Ultimately I am not one to Judge - If God speaks through the Cepher to certain people - then that is His Decision and / Or Tool for His Kingdom. But for me now... Personally - Given the situation with the Hebrew congregation and also the many other Arguments Hebrews and Hebrew Israelite and Hebrew Roots Movement people have drawn me into - I decided to steer clear from them altogether. I have Noticed however... They seem to be SO fixated on the YH Names and then throw anyone under the bus who uses JC names for Christ. Another 'Common theme' of the Hebrews and the Israelites themselves is they have had next to NO Deliverance - they don't seem to talk about Deliverance often - and they seem to think that anyone who Does Deliverance with the Jesus Christ name - is NOT of God. Clearly this is absolute Nonsense. I have learnt now on my walk... that people who often draw you into Fruitless debates and Discussions have had ZERO Deliverance. And Deliverance itself literally takes months and months of Prayer and Fasting. Another thing is many of them don't think you should Pray in the spirit. So yeah... Definately a group of people i'd rather avoid. I believe Most Churches are Narcissistic Collective HIVE Mind thinking Divination Dens. FULL to the Brim of False Prophets. I do consider the Dead Sea Scrolls a valid witness as to books to consider for reference ... Jasher is full of contradictions when compareed to the canon. I do attempt to keep Torah wholeheartedly considering "this is for all generations" is mentioned a multitude of times throughout. This is in no way to achieve salvation, which is through faith in Yeshua/Jesus alone, but keeping Torah is my worship. Personally the AMP reads more as a commentary to me. @@virtuousministriesbrother go search up the Ethiopian bible. It has all the books in it & they have never been taken out or touched by Europeans or anyone. As they have not been colonised. The cephyr has some of them books. Popes & other ppl took out books from the bible that’s a fact because we had the apocrypha for thousands of years now not anymore.. bcoz a pope decided. I’m not saying the cephyr is correct coz I heard different of the false Hebrew on the cover & some fables & terrible English inside.
