I'm a newly licensed civil engineer, and I'm currently deciding between pursuing being a site engineer and being a quantity surveyor (I only have prior site experience from internship of vertical structures and also some off-site knowledge of construction methods). I'm so glad I found your channel! I plan to binge all relevant videos on your channel and also ask some of my former professors to help me decide which path would be better for me. I'm now more aware how daunting and challenging the position of a quantity surveyor can be, and I definitely plan to acquire the skillset required to become a competent one so I can have more opportunities in the future.
