Cercle: Desert Island Edition! Next up, Antartica? The Moon? From inside the K-Hole? Monolink is always incredible, but this set really showcases his capabilities. Powering through multiple technical issues, he never loses his chill and keeps the vibe rolling flawlessly. What a talent! For me, Mono is the Artist of the moment, a modern David Gilmour, and this actual-"On an Island" set is every bit as perfect as anything Dave produced in or out of the studio. Bravo Mono!!!

I've just come back from a night cycle ride along cycle paths and canal paths, nobody around except the wildlife, foxes, badgers, cats, bats, deer etc. whilst listening to this set and wow! Magnificent! Perfect! Definitely added to my favourite Cercle sets to listen to when I'm doing my night cycling :)

saw Monolink for the first time in Hamburg on the Reeperbahn, where he is from and where he was still performing with a mask. Could immediately see him becoming big with his unique rough voice, EDM production- and song-writings skills. A couple of years later I moved to Chile. One day, on a random fruit-market in Santiago, I suddenly heard a song of his banging through the speakers. At this point, I knew he'd made it.

As far as I know, there is a use of the term EDM where you just literally mean electronic dance music (music that involves synthesizers and is danceable) instead of meaning the David Guetta-style hardcore-compressed, progressive house. In that sense, monolink’s music is definitely EDM, and I meant it entirely without negative connotations.
