Congrats to all of you. Congrats on mastering a foreign language, integrating into a foreign country, finding a job in that country and paying taxes for 5 years without a break in employment, then finally succeeding in paying over 1.5k to pay for the very long winded application. Anyone who puts in such an effort is welcome.

There should be an oath included to accept UK law above ALL other .. and that includes Sharia... and if you don't?.. Citizenship can be denied or revoked.. simple..

David C Because there are fewer reasons to be British if you're already from an advanced country. If you're in a developing country then Becoming a British citizen is more serious than winning the Jackpot because this would affect the rest of your generation.
