How fkin awesome is that. Prusa helping discover the secrets and mysteries of the universe. I'm still struggling to solve the mystery of how Bambu developed their firmware without using open source code from Marlin etc in just two years. I don't think even a particle accelerator could make that possible!

Because I am in similar facility as an engineer in Germany we also start using a 3d printer. But there is no feedback from other scientific facilities for example about materials and how their work in radioactive caves. Maybe there will be more in the future ... Thanks for the video.

There are at least 30-50 thermoplastic materials suitable for 3D printing that you can buy commercially in spool form for 3d printing. These materials originated in the plastics industry and you can easily find the MSDS for each material. For example PEEK can be used from -70C to +250C. It is also very radiation resistant

@@asicdathens yes but you cannot use PEEK with a Prusa printer ;) so in this case only some materials will fit. Would be nice to know which one
