She is goddess of the sun & moon, light & dark, the daughter of Manannán Mac Lir reborn to the Daghda, Father God & king of the Tuatha de Danaan, the goddess of the Sidhe & the Fae, who we celebrate at Beltaíne with Bel & at Midsummer & Lughnasadh. (Beltaíne means feast of Bel & Áine, though I see so many who name only Bel & not mention or know of her, & she is the more powerful of the two, and most powerful of the Irish Celtic dieties after Daghda, & Anu/Danu, the Mother goddess) She is bearer of light, light in the darkness/night, guardian, a triple goddess - all three aspects, & goddess of fire, water, earth, & abundance, protection, creativity & inspiration, growth, animals & nature, & of vitality, life force, strength. She brings new life, energy, and assists us in slaying problems & bringing good out of obstacles or conflict. She created the ability for magic in humans by giving birth to it in us through the Fae, & after neutralizing a once bad king of Munster brought the Eoganachta - centuries of strong kings into being. It is said that Ireland fell to invasion bc ceremonies stopped during conversions & that Ireland regained sovereignty bc the rites resumed in Tipperary & Limerick, restoring protection & strength to the south, to the lands where she was acknowledged & she came out of her rest. She is the strongest goddess of sovereignty & light & dark in the Celtic world. Each area has goddesses who also are of these things, & it is Áine who is of all these things in all places, & she is present wherever Celts have gone & for anyone who is there & calls upon her, she will respond. Her offerings are fire, grain/bread, & she can be talked to outside at night under the moon, as well, including the new, dark moon. The Celtic tradition of jumping the fire, & of herding cattle between 2 fires, or running around the herd with a straw torch, are of her or also of Bel, to bless & protect them, and bring abundance. A sun & moon above mantel or hearth brings protection & abundance. The water of a spring or small stream or lake, when asking her for what's needed, brings that blessing, & guidance in our steps to bring it about. Cerridwen is Welsh & a sisterhood goddess to her who aids in transformation & cleansing of life details. Áine is overseer of these matters & brings the new life in after Cerridwen cleanses out what does not serve & can do so herself directly too but we must be willing and trust the change with either or we tend to resist & if so Cerridwen may become impatient with us & tear it down despite us, for the good of all concerned. Áine, the mother aspect,then will step in if invited to, to rebuild. Some confuse her with Anu/Danu but she is not. She is the one who takes action for us living beings while Anu is seeing to creation matters for the earth itself & that is online too. But it sounded like Áine may be of interest. Virgo rising vibes there. She is, too, the horse that cannot be caught, red for action. & Cerridwen is also otter & hawk.

There is no fear needed with her supporting & she is a creator goddess too & has cooperation with Cerridwen though one is of Ireland & the other of Wales, neighbors with sisterhood. But there's no reason to fear Cerridwen. & Both are protectors. Áine brings life force & is a light & dark goddess but also bearer of light into dark.
