Skilled worker visa .... he said due to political situation home office mostly didn't respond to any application.

No that is not true, Home Office is a separate department and answerable to many other departments for figures. They can't involve in politics as its against the law. There is some impact due to pressure to reduce net immigration but same time they charging millions of £ in terms of the fees & ihs, so they have to respond to applicants.

I applied through an agent who is living in the uk. Paid inquiry is for those who are living outside the UK. My agent said he mailed the home office multiple times, but they didn't reply back. So what should he do?

Which visa we discussing here ? Skilled worker visa or sponsor licence ? Cuz there is not option to email Home Office if he has applied skilled worker visa for you. Do he means he applied COS for you ?

so he applied defined cos and waiting for the decision ? The company can pay premium charges and get SMS system premium designated customer agent and get the decision in 10 days. But, unfortunately it comes with the price tag just like everything else. Two questions please: 1) I am changing employers, so should I simply fill a new skilled worker visa application, or there is a specific application for change of employers as I am already on a skilled worker visa. 2) If 3 years medical insurance is remaining on my current visa, and I get a new job that offers me 4 years CoS, will I pay an IHS for whole 4 years (and get return the old one), or I can use my old IHS and pay for the remaining one year only?

You know if I'll pay the whole again, I'll pay with the new rate, and they'll return the old one on previous rate, so that's too much money I will be paying for the thing I already own.

Changing Employers on Skilled Worker Visa: New Application Not Required: You don't need to submit a completely new Skilled Worker visa application when changing employers. Update Your Current Visa: Instead, you need to apply to update your existing visa with the details of your new job. This is a simpler process compared to a fresh application. IHS and Change of Employers: Using Remaining IHS: You can potentially use the remaining 3 years of your existing IHS (Immigration Health Surcharge) if it meets the following conditions: Covers the entire duration of your new CoS (Certificate of Sponsorship) - In your case, 4 years. Is still valid at the time of your application update. Paying for Remaining Period: If your current IHS doesn't cover the entire 4 years, you'll only need to pay for the remaining period not covered by your existing IHS. @@UKknowledgeGuru thank you. I applied for the priority visa service already on Tuesday evening and got the visa yesterday. I found the same link to update application, put my current brp details as well but the system asked me to pay the whole 3 years IHS, while my 3 & a half years IHS was already remaining. Is it because I wrote the BRP expiry date as 31st Dec 2024 (because all BRPs are expiring on this date), and not the actual visa expiry date?? And will I still get full refund? I heard it's automatic. So what if they returned only the IHS till dec 2024?

I have accepted a job within the UK and need to switch visas. However my new employer didn't provide me the new CoS. They said they will do this week, but haven't heard so far. Question is... Next week will be my official end date on the job with the current employer. Am I allowed to live in the UK while waiting for the new CoS?

Hello sir , My Dcos for a skilled worker visa is applied on 22 Feb this year . But I didn't get any response from the UK home office . Is this normal .Why does the home office take too much time ?.

Hello sir I had received my Cos on 3rd April and the job code is based on previous system SOC 2010. As of SOC 2020, my job code has been changed. While applying for visa application, the job code didn’t match the job role that I am applying for. So What is the solution for this kind of problem ? Should the job code be kept as SOC 2020 or 2010 ? Or Changes should be made on COS by adding on sponsor notes ?

Get in touch with your UK employer (the sponsor) and explain the situation. Inform them that the job code on your COS is based on the older SOC 2010 system and doesn't reflect your actual job duties under SOC 2020. Request them to update the job code on your COS to reflect the SOC 2020 classification. They might need to submit a request to the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) for a COS amendment.

@@fadakinniabiodun4444 I have applied for visa by including the new job code and my employer had mentioned new code in sponsor notes. Other people got their visa approved by keeping the nearest code that matches their job name and roles. Also UKVI didn’t ask for clarification as cos before 4 April is valid and old job code rules applies
