If you'd exit curves properly meaning going wide rather than staying inside, you'd keep more speed. It's quite obvious, you are faster entering curves but at the exit they're catching you.

Needs some sprint training to push the kart faster, had a slow start and then lost 2 more places. Started 5th finished 8th. Could have made 4th or perhaps 3rd.
