In this video I show you Cetinje Old Royal capital, in central Montenegro. We visit Lovcen national park and Mausoleum with amazing Kotor and Boka Bay view.
We start the tour exploring Cetinje and learning about Montenegro's culture and heritate, and then drive through Lovcen national park to Njegos's Mausoleum, on 1700m above sea level. From there we discover picturesque village Njegusi, birthplace of 7 Montenegrin rulers and taste some delicious local food. Then old Austro Hungarian road leads us to Kotor, and we can enjoy best panoramic views over Boka Bay. This is best half day or full day tour in central Montenegro

Thank you, David from Canada! Risan is still a sleepy town away fron the crowds and fancy lights, but I think it is the next 'big thing' as Tivat and Kotor are already well known. Citinje seems to be more of a historical and cultural site to explore! ..It would be amazing to have a cup of coffee ☕ in that cafe built in extreme location enjoying magnificent view! 👍

Cetinje is definitely a must visit for those who want to learn more about the history and culture of Montenegro. To combine it with visit of Lovcen national park & Njegusi village, is one of the best day tours in the country. 'Horizontal cafe' is open mostly from May/June until late October, best views over Boka bay for sure. Food is great too.

Hi! How long would it take you to go the 400 steps and visit the mausoleum? We will hire a taxi from Centije bus station up there so we would like to know how long the taxi driver will be waiting for us at the car park. Thanks!

5 minutes to climb the stairs, depends on your fitness level :) and up to 1 hour to see the mausoleum, the tomb, and to enjoy the views... so taxi should wait for you 1 hour...
