Howard is elite with the RPO in the red zone, especially from about 5-10 yards out. If he doesn’t start I can see them having a goal line package for him. That would make a lot more sense than what they tried with Brown last year.

I have way more questions about Michigan's offense. They didn't have a great passing attack last year and there's going to be a drop off with Orji starting. Edwards has been inconsistent at RB and losing a couple elite starters on the offensive line.

Day deserves criticism but calling his career mid is hilarious. OSU’s QB play fell off a cliff for one season, and with the recruits they’re landing there’s no reason to believe it’ll stay that way. Will Will Howard be CJ Stroud? No. Can he be slightly better than McCord and also provide a run threat? Yes. Day isn’t getting fired unless he goes 9-3 or worse and misses the playoff. I’d say with all the changes he’s made to the program he’s entering his best era as a head coach.

Not really. They have always scheduled big non conference opponents and with the additions of Oregon, Washington, and USC to the Big Ten their schedule gets better. Their out of conference schedule in 2024 is lackluster because Washington is no longer on it because they’re a conference opponent now.
