FIELDING YOST is the BEST football coach in Michigan history Rich! He did so much not only for the program, but for the university. He built the foundation for what Michigan is today!

Saban knew at the SEC championship game. If you look at the face of Kirby Smart after they exchanged words at midfield…Kirby was kinda of tearing up and said “thank you for everything you’ve done and taught me”. That was Kirby saying goodbye on the field bc Saban probably told him this was his last year.

I was at Alabama in the sixties and remember well when Coach Bryant arrived in 1958. There was something similar when Nick Saban arrived. The reaction to Kalen DeBoers and his reception has been close to that level. Saban notified team at 4:00 pm Wednesday. Greg Byrne and his wife were in Seattle Thursday meeting with the DeBoers who arrived in Tuscaloosa Friday night to meet with the team. Alabama got its pick, Rich. We got our man. I haven’t seen this level of acceptance and confidence since Nick and Coach Bryant.

Yes, let’s talk about A.Manning who’s 2 years out when we really should be talking about S.Sanders who’s a year ahead.

Feldman missed the point on Arch. Archie has talked about how he preferred the way Eli’s college career went - he sat for a few years before starting - as opposed to the way Peyton’s went where he started right away in college. It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that the Manning’s are comfortable having Arch sit for a few years.

Arch can still start 3 years of college football at Texas in the SEC if he has to back up Ewers in 2024. It’ll be alright.

Im sick of Fake News talking about a guy who after 2 years will not have started even one college football game, especially since he has a proven starter in front of him. Ewers is clearly the better QB. Arch made his bed, he can sleep in it now.

According to the Josh Allen documentary, he played high school ball at a small town school and had no scholarship offers until Wyoming finally offered him one. Even coming out of Wyoming, people doubted his skills at time of the draft.

No one mentioned that Arch Manning could have developed and next year beat out the starting QB. The old fashioned way to earn a starting position is to be the better (stronger, more accurate, mobile and make better decisions) quarterback and show it in practice. He might not be starting when season begins, but no one knows what happens during season.

If you think that it still works like beat out the guy in front of you, you may need to go enjoy another sport, yeah sometimes at certain positions it may matter, but with that situation not happening if he comes back barring an injury or an 0-4 start ewers will be that started. And I’m an arch fan only Texas game I watched I watched to see if arch played!!
