Big12 could offer ND a Acc type deal. Playing 6 games in the Big12 would help our TV contract

The funniest thing about this whole situation is that North Carolina and Miami are both far more valuable than FSU and Clemson.

@@maccleezy801 That's true the brand of your favorite team has little to do with TV revenue!!! Yes TV revenue helps but it's a small amount compared to your actual brand value!!! For example BYU in 2021 was independent and there TV revenue was around 12 million don't quote me on that figure but it was approximately that. But there total revenue earned for year 2021 was 106 million in total revenue earned!!!

As an overall university, maybe, as a football and associated money generator (which is what the conferences actually care about), absolutely not.

@@stormrider3530 Football is a really small part of a universities success. Take Norte Dame for instance, As long as they're pulling a check from a media partner they will stay independent! Their media revenue they're receiving is only about 20% of their revenue generated for the year. On top of that Notre Dame has 100's of millions dollars in patients there not going to share with other universities. It's the fan in us that thinks football drives everything, but really it's just advertising for the universitys!!!

COLLEGE FOOTBALL MAFIA IM GOING TO SAY FIRST ON MY COMMENT??? That's it could be Amazon, Apple TV but it's not??? What if there's a deal with 6 ACC teams and Oregon St and Washington State??? Bringing in the PAC 12 network??? Selling a percentage of that network to private equity??? The PAC 12 network under good management could become really valuable??? The BIG12 has a minimum risk here if the network fails so does private equity investors leaving the BIG12 clear of financial responsibilities??? Remember if something like that happens I said it first just a lonely dumb listener lol???

Bomber your are wrong about SMU... SMU was a powerhouse in the 80's and was handed the death penalty for what is legal today? I don't like the hate on SMU if it was BYU your attitude would change? Don't think SMU is the only university buying players or your up in the night! Just because SMU is starting to buy players is even noticeable is absolutely because they haven't been able to do so in a power conference now. Actually with the new era of college football SMU is absolutely going to become a factor in football!!! I hate that everyone is worried about what SMU is doing and start worrying about what there favorite teams to compete with them??? In all reality we need some structure and some kind of CAP or it's going to have nothing to do with P-2 it's going to come down to richest teams and trust me Texas money isn't even comparable to these other teams!!!
