6 жыл бұрынHey everyone! This was quite a fun one, I just love the amount of contrast between the deep blacks and the highlights in the fur. I used the scratching technique for this one as well, to get the detailed fur. I hope you all enjoyed this one. Thanks for watching!! :)

Adriaan Lombard working with charcoal is a lot easier than you would think. I prefer it to any other tool. Watching these, and trying to recreate the simplest ones will give you the technique, then using it as often as you can. That'll be "how to start"!! Let me know if you upload anything, I'm happy to give tips. I don't post any of my work here yet, but I do on Pinterest. I'm not as good as this guy but I've only been working with charcoal for about a year-year and a half.

This is disturbingly perfect. I went to high school of fine arts and there hyperrealism came into my life. I drew the dog's head, but I didn't think anything could draw EVERY hair. Consequently, I do not understand that such a quality does not have as many subscribers as it deserved. But I know you'll never stop, and neither will I.

This is wicked and fantastic! I do something like this on tinted automotive lexan with a pointed scribe and fill in the etch with white acrylic.

I think the main reason why I genuinely enjoy watching videos like these is because as a self-taught artist, it acts as a reminder that art isn't as easy as you think. This whole video, if unedited, it's most probably hours and hours of footage; then shortened to just over 4 minutes. Excellent job on the drawing by the way!
