I usually put out my videos on Tuesdays but I had to drop this one early because I got to go to Universal Orlando's Volcano Bay Water park and I had a blast! I take you around and show you the sights along with some things to keep in mind while you're there.

Hi my name is Tash and I am CFL Parkhopper. This is one park lover's journey through all the central florida theme parks and their related events. I love to go to all the parks here in the Orlando area. That includes Volcano Bay (universal Studios' newest water park), Disney's Magic Kingdom, Disney's Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Universal Studios Orlando, Busch Gardens and more! I absolutely love the parks and spend way too much time there. (or so my husband says lol)
I also love to give you tips and tricks on how to navigate your way with as little problem as possible through Volcano Bay (universal Studios' newest water park), Disney's Magic Kingdom, Disney's Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Universal Studios Orlando, Busch Gardens.

I think I was pretty lucky on my visit on 5th October, there were was no waiting time on any slide, every slide was "ride now" the whole day and I did every slide 3-4 times. Best water park experience ever! Only con of the park: very expensive

Hi, I'm planning to go to a water park in Orlando. Which is your favorite? Also what's better Aquatica or Volcano Bay. I've heard a lot of negative reviews at Volcano Bay because of the wait times. Thanks! Love your videos!

I love aquatica I've been going there forever and it's the best, I dunno about volcano bay it's pretty new so I haven't been, but I know the taputapu system is a mess at least I think so

TheQD5 I went to volcano bay on 2nd day of operation I would WAIT to go to.volcano bay. Best rides in Florida water parks but wait times are around 150-220 minutes If you don't mind about rides and just don't want to wait awhile go to aquatica that still has average rides just not a lot of theming and not as good rides

Can I get on the last ride u showed if I can't swim? I would love to go on a drop slide but can't do the oh no and oh yeah cause of the 10feet deep pool

the pool at the bottom of that ride is 3feet and 6 inches so yeah, you can walk out without knowing how to swim :) hope that helps

+edwina debebs kala and tainui end in about 3.5 ft of water. So you can stand up and walk out. The only pool that you must swim is ohno ohya

Great question only two slides have an elevator. The water coaster and the maku and puihi raft slides. The rest you would have to do stairs.

Is there a resort in or near the park ?

Universal Orlando has 5 hotels on its property and a 6th one on the way. Cabana Bay is the closest resort to Volcano Bay. You can walk from that resort into the water park through a private entrance. The other hotels have bus service.

You still have to have a ticket to the water park to get in.

Keep in mind that was summer when the park first opened. It's over a year old now so it's not as bad anymore

the way the taputapu system works is you get put into a virtual line so feel free to go sit in the lazy rivers or the wave pool or even go and eat lunch while you are in line...as soon as your taputapu tells you its time to ride you just go straight to the top and ride it... also any rides that say RIDE NOW you can just go ahead and hop on and ride those while you wait for your krakatau aqua coaster experience

time goes by really fast but while your wait try out rides that don't need a wait just go up to them and ride but i recommend going early

what rides can people go on if they cant swim

m0nster most of the slides end in about 3 feet of water so you can just walk out. The ohyah and ohno Alisa drop into a 10 foot pool so you do need to swim for those but the others you can walk out. If you are talking children most slides cannot be ridden unless you are over 42 inches. But they do have a children's area

Yeah but it allows you to go and do other rides while you wait to wait and it also keeps the ride lines manageable and relatively quicker than average. Instead of waiting 3 hours you wait 20-30 min

Good question Mike, they have tap in point at the beginning of each line and if it's not time yet the team members won't let you in line.

CFL ParkHopper Is this the park where you get to digitally place yourself in line and you can go do other stuff before you ride? Can you explain how that works? This looks really fun but it’s not worth it if I’m just going to be waiting in lines all day.

Thewarf321 You get a wristband at the beginning of the park and then you go up to one of the rides and it'll give you a wait time, let's say 50 min, and you tap your TapuTapu (wristband) to the station and it'll place you in a virtual line. So basically you're in a line but you don't have to actually stand and wait in one. The band starts like a countdown (50 min + however long it'll take you to walk there and wait behind the people who also tapped in at that time so let's say 5 min so 55 min total your band will say). You get to do whatever you want while you wait in the VL except tap into another VL. When the times is up the band vibrates and you tap it again when you're about to go on the ride and they let you in.
