@@CameronsonCamera haven't been for long here in nc. I ride in WV and up there they simply don't care if you ride on the road.

I just put a pressure switch beside reverse gear selector .

Good plan. We thought about a momentary switch or tying into factory switch wire but we wanted the freedom to use the lights no matter what gear we were in.

We used 14 gauge wire from the light to the switch

We made our own harness. We tied the positive of each light together and the negative of each light together. We then wired the negative wires to a chassis ground and wired the positive wires to a 12volt switch inside the cab. No factory wires were used.

@@CameronsonCamera That's what I plan to do -- make a harness for my UForce 800 for towing. Left, right, backup and brake. Time to get paper and draw out all the connections.
