If I subscribe to the forge will be able to take any class I choose or does subscribing get me access to the free classes?

Quaternions are a useful rotation structure, but they are not directly linked to the ability to angle/axis in the slightest, it's just that Houdini offers an angle/axis overload to a quaternion constructor.
