Basically an example of why you shouldn't judge people by their looks. Someone who doesn't look as appealing, could have the better personality, they could be the one who's more fun to be friends with.

My profile is my dog. He was in a high kill shelter and then was rescued. He failed an adoption but, we fostered him. That lasted a week before we realized that we were not letting him leave. He is the happiest person I know and we spoil him rotten. The thought of him being "not in this world", if you get my meaning, still upsets me and my wife. Big Brown Rescue is our favorite breed. Please, if you get a chance, rescue an animal, it will change your world and theirs.

Josiah Heun no it's true, my grandmother had a very nice poodle (she just liked to bark like all small dogs). I also met a very nice tea cup poodle. so they do exist, their just rare.

Those kennels looked like dungeons - so hard to decide when they're all adorable - I'd want to take them all - and find good homes. I'm teary eyed, just seeing those precious creatures in those cages 😢

This reminds me of what my dad did just a year ago. His previous dog passed away after the many years we had him. And after grieving for a long time, he went to look for a new one. He looked all around and eventually found a young boxer (about 5 years). She was sick and had a bad skin problem which left big bumps on her body. She went through a dog hell before being found. The sad thing, everyone who looked at her, turned away because no one wanted her for her problems. But my father, took her in. She was so deadly shy, she didn't move when I walked in to see her. But day after day, week after week. Her body healed, and her personality changed completely. She jumps in the air and gives everyone and anyone a hug. To think of my father didn't adopt her, she would still be in a cage, or even dead. This video reminded me the importance of adopting. So many of these lovely creatures are abused and neglected, then after being saved, they are left in a cage, waiting for someone to love them

This was beautiful. My one and only dog Ginger was a rescue, the breeder took her to be put asleep, my veterinarian wouldn't do it. Ginger was 7 weeks old, with a lot of health problems. I adopted her and had her for 15 wonderful years, my free puppy cost me thousands of dollars, but was ok with that. I miss her very much, been 20 years since her passing.

Reminds me of a little,blind,and messy furred dog at the pound, I wanted to take him home so bad, my mom said to me that we couldn't he was too sick and didn't have his shots, she lied about that, in my eyes he was perfect and to this day I still think he was perfect, there goes a dog that I could've saved

That's sad. I adopted a blind cat from the pound because no one else wanted her and she was totally sweet. All animals deserve love and a home, whether healthy, deformed, or they have a disability. Good for you for seeing the beauty in that little dog. To bad you couldn't have taken him home.

Char Lennon I know it truly is a shame, people are just used to seeing animals perfected, in a way, and they mostly get them as "toys" for there kids, which is why they end up in the shelter. It really is saddening.

Pitbulls and Bulldogs, they are so misunderstood.One of my best friends, Orion, had 2 pitbulls named Dozer and Zoey(Dozer was a big gentle brute lol ♥) and they were were just, how can I put this into words...,Just.. Awesomely adorable and and nice! I loved them so much like they were my own dogs, and we were all heartbroken when her pit, Zoey passed away.RIP.

Funny Cat Me, too. So I adopt stray cats instead. But I love dogs, too, so I donate to the people/organizations/groups that helps abandoned cats and dogs in my town/country. Let's hope more people who can have dogs as pets would open their houses for stray dogs... 💜

Our "rescued puppy" (she's going on 12, but she's still a puppy to us) came to us nearly 4 years ago now. After she was essentially abandoned by her former "parents", she survived in the wild, until choosing to come live with us. She is 100% love...and has a "Zen-like" quality, that many have noticed.. All she needed, all she wanted....was someone to love her, the way she loves others. We are blessed, to be those people ❤.

We found our dog Lilly looking sad and scared in the cage she was in at the rehoming centre that we found her in, we got her and she is a old girl now. This made me cry.

My dog was born with a deadly virus, him and his brother. On top of that, his owners left them for dead. But they also abused them. A doctor saved their lives, and a kind shelter took my dog in. When he was 6 months old, my family found him. Ever since, he's been so goofy and cute. But sometimes his PTSD kicks in, and he cowers. We have always given him a good home. I love my dog very dearly, and hate to have heard what he went through.

Tears of joy! I have three adopted love ones running around my house everyday, and they give me as much love as I can give to them. They give me my share of adorable heartfelt headbutts, licks, kisses & snuggle moments to last a lifetime. I loved this video so much; it reminds me of my cuddly & furry family members! The video really makes you want to give love to all of those furry balls of happiness everywhere! Great job!

I can't even watch this video without crying. Dogs are my weakness when trying not to cry. Like if I did a Try not ti cry challenge and it has something to do with dogs, I will lose no matter what. It shows that I'm a huge dog person and how much I love and care for dogs. I even have a dog and he's 11 years old now. Losing him would literally be the end of my world.

I love this video it reminds me that my father once when he came back from his business trip he found a abandoned turtle on the side of the roadThe poor thing was rejected and thrown away on the streets by it's previous owners it was thirsty,hungry and had alot of pain and only wanted to be safe,it was walkin miles apon miles sick and tired and when my father drove past it he stopped his car and took it with him,once he came home we immediately gave it food,water and a nice little worm shelter,we took care of it but then we had to give it to people that take care of thrown away animals So I think all animals deserve happiness! Especially those who are thrown away! 😔🥺😢😔🥺😢😔🥺😢

I got my Chihuahua from a shelter. She was 6 years old. The people that dumped her kept her puppies of course. She escaped from the shelter and went back to them, and they dumped her again. My blue heeler at three months old, was thrown in a ditch and left to die. I got my corgi mix, three months old, from a pilled up creep. And I adopted my hound from a local vet, animal control found him on the side of the road at 10 or 12 weeks old. Thinking about this has made me cry. Jesus dude.

Those dogs do get adopted very fast. The ones that don't are pit bulls and old dogs. Go to a shelter and see how many cute and desirable dogs you see. When my family's last dog died, my mom and I went to two shelters to find another, and they were filled with pit bulls. I suggested adopting one, but my mom wouldn't have that because they are, "Mean and scary." One more for the needle and furnace.
