The shot rewinds New York City from the present-day to its early days, showing the port city in 1811.
Commissioned for TV series Metropolis for Nutopia.
To create the shot we built NYC as complex computer-generated (CGI) models in different decades. To add to the complexity, many of the constructing buildings are animated and played in reverse.
We know it's not accurate in terms of building timing!
